The cabin is lovely but because it’s a duplex, you hear your adjoining neighbor. It was very convenient to stay in the heart of Zion. Good experience.

I enjoyed the lodge in the heart of Zion National park. Yet, it would have been great if expedia or the lodge had sent the correct code to open the gate at the entrance and as such, avoided me from blocking the shuttles for a little while...

Would be fine if you’re looking for rustic

The hotel is just way over priced. Small cabins with only double beds and a small bathroom. No TV and no Wifi. They offer wifi but it’s very hard to connect to it and then doesn’t work once you do connect. An odd email may come through or you can walk to the main lobby and it works better there. Front desk staff were okay, but not overly friendly or helpful. Restaurant had a ton of staff, but made you wait 20 plus minutes for a table, for no apparent reason. They later said it was a computer issue, so this may be an isolated issue. If you’re looking for a rustic stay (inside the park) then this would be fine. But you’re still over paying, for what you get. It does have an air conditioner that worked, but only gets the sleeping area, not the bathroom.

Super location right in the park. 2nd floor walk up room had a great view. Resteraunt staff still using covid as an excuse for poor service

If you stay here, it is because of the location. The lodge itself (the rooms - we rented a room with two double beds) could need some refreshing. Its wall to wall carpet in there and a bit past it's prime. Smelled bad when we walked in. The dining at Red Rock Cafe is simply awefull. You need to prepay your meal when you walk in so no time to reflect on what you want to eat. Essentially cafeteria food of questionable freshness. We went out for dinner in Springdale on night 2 just to make sure we avoided dining there again. Also booked through Expedia and what we booked and what we got did not correspond. We were a familly of 5 and it was advertised as sleeping 5 but we had to pay extra for a foldable bed - for an extra fee. Would be nice for them to ensure their resellers are aligned with their offering. Beautiful park however but when we return, we will not be staying here again.

Nice to stay in Zion Natl. Park

Stayed in a cabin with so-called queen bed, but bed seemed smaller than queen and was a little lumpy, but tolerable. It was cold in Zion (early March) while we were there, especially at night. Only a gas fireplace for heat. It kept it warm enough but hard to regulate so couldn't leave it on overnight. Only a heat lamp to warm the bathroom - was not enough. No TV and not much to do there at night. All in all, it was a little primitive for my taste, but worth it to be able to stay in the park and avoid the traffic jams into and out of the park. Food in dining room in lodge was quite good for dinner. Didn't try lunch. We fixed breakfast and made sandwiches in our room, which had a small fridge and microwave and 2nd sink, but it was difficult and uncomfortable because no table for eating and no dishes or cutlery provided. Lighting was dim.

Off season is the perfect time to visit Zion

We didn't expect such a charming cabin! Over time we have stayed in several rustic cabins, so this one surprised us...let's call it rustic chic. Yes the furniture is made with tree branches...but look at the quality of workmanship and materials used. Beautiful. The curtains, quality fabric. The second sink in the dressing/coffee prep room, with its great lighting, is great. Then there is the working fireplace, gas, so no matches, no struggle to light the kindling, no smoke...just ambiance. The bed was very comfortable. I'd stay here again, for sure!!

Great location, dated amenities

Can't beat the location. Very easy to jump on a trail and go see the park. The lodge is dated and the hot water wasn't working at first and our tub was clogged. They sent someone out right away and they did get hot water going, but the tub never did drain quite right. Smells a bit musky when you get in, like there is lingering moisture issues. You are definitely paying the premium price for the location and not the quality of the lodging. But, everyone was super helpful and nice and it was clean, just dated.
