There were cockroaches 2 we killed housekeeping was late and did a poor job the phone didn’t work & fire alarm went off at 4 am worst, I left my phone in Uber the driver was unpleasant I told front desk to call when he came instead they let him come to bang on my door I did t answer I gave him 25 $ for the return but front desk should have called me. The pool snack bar open only 1 day while there advertising said ole. Everyday

Hotel location, the amenities and the parking was great. Room was cramped and smelled of mold and mildew. Furniture was sub par, but the bed was good. Hotel management were uncooperative and stonewalled us when we asked for a room change. The manager of the hotel never returned our call.

When we arrived, our room wasn't ready so we visited with my parents who arrived a few days before us. While my toddler napped in their room, I went to check in. We had room 501 and I went to check it out. I walked in, walked around and walked out. The baseboards were off the walls, EVERY wall. There was patches of glue still along the wall where the baseboards would go. The one dresser that was in the bedroom was falling apart. The living room area was dark, despite being ocean view, and the bar stools were stained. The patio was shared, which was not as advertised. I went back to the main desk and said that I was not staying in a room like that with my toddler. It looked like it was still under renos given the missing baseboards. They initially said they didn't have any other rooms available but finally gave us a room on the 6th floor. We went to check it out. It was worse than the first. Dirty, stained/broken furniture, hair in tub, studio (not what we paid for). Front desk lady got reservation manager who was super rude and unapologetic. Finally got refund and wasted day of vacation looking for another hotel. Awful, rude service. Disgustingly unclean and unkempt rooms that should NOT be rented. We will never return and my parents and their friends who are annual visitors, will never return for the service we received. Shameful.

anniversary getaway

WOW it has to be the best place we have stayed in. We have been coming to Daytona for 16 years, we had the best service and hospitality from all the staff. Very highly recommended. can't wait to go back here. Thank you for the ultimate upgrade room. it made our 34th anniversary the best.

Not worth the money

We booked 2 separate rooms for us and the kids (early 20's). We booked two waterfront rooms. (1 king and the other 2 queens). We called the hotel a couple of weeks before to request them to be on the same floor or close. They made note but when we checked in, the guy put them in the other tower. I asked about it and he didn't even check just said no can't be done. In addition the room they got was right next to the renovations and had a smell. No private balcony.. It was shared across the floor. They did not have functional wifi in their room and we made numerous complaints and they did nothing. Kept claiming someone will call us back and they never did. Breakfast was basic. Our room was better and had a private balcony. Nice view of the ocean. Drawers on dresser were broken and had to be lifted to close. Overall I would have rather have spent m money elsewhere for a hotel that gave better service and better quality rooms. We were also charged for resort fees by him on check in. Didn't really explain why. When we checked out w we're charged again. I questioned this and they corrected his charges before they got posted to my credit card.

We checked in and received our ocean view room as requested (so far so good) We noticed it smelled musty in the elevator and when we got to the room it was the same. We chalked it up to being on the ocean and went to the store to buy supplies and a couple air fresheners. When we got back wife noticed while putting stuff away that the whole corner of the room was flooded, hence the musty smell. How good is the cleaning service when they clean the room and don't notice that half of it is flooded. We should have known when we walked into the room and some of the base boards were missing. They did change our room to a same ocean view but in the newer renovated section which didn't smell and was pretty nice except for the beetle looking bug in the covers of the bed when my wife turned them down. Several times when I was at the front desk I over heard them dealing with people that booked online and the hotel had no reservation for them so beware of that as well. The price was right for this view room but I definitely would not darken that door step again.

Only decent for the view, nothing else!

I want to start by saying that this hotel is at the most perfect location in Daytona. We booked a King Room Ocean View and it was just that. Absolutely stunning view but I WOULD NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN because it doesnt offer all that it says. WIFI does not work in the room, after multiple complaints, i was told to call the internet company DIRECTLY. Room furniture is DATED, definately not resort worthy. "BUFFET BREAKFAST" was the worst - boiled eggs, toast, oatmeal is "BUFFET" for this hotel. Overall i was very very disappointed in this booking. Please book Days Inn or Hard Rock along the same strip for value for your money.

Nice hotel, convenient to pay in Canadian dollars.

Really enjoyed the ocean front view and the room was comfortable, kitchen was a bonus. The room needed a little TLC/cleaning/updating.
