Sámara condos

Spent a week at Lilypad. It’s an Oasis within a developing neighborhood steps from the beach. Definitely quieter than Guiones side, but still restaurants, bars etc that are easy to access. Having the evening security was an added bonus. The only negative was backing on to the ATV rentals but most noise was during the day. Overall highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed with Mike (a fellow Canadian), for a week in February. Our casita was clean and comfortable With all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the large pool, patio area with a covered ranchero to cook and sit under. Only a short drive into Samara and the best beach in Costa Rica, Playa Carrillo. I would recommend renting a vehicle and staying at Mike’s’ place.
