North Island cabins

The Cape View was a very cute location. Unfortunately, the weather was not great for the three nights we stayed there (but that wasn’t the host’s doing!) so we were unable to make the most of the great outdoor spaces. Access to the hot tub and BBQ was greatly appreciated. Some hanger space would have been useful but we knew there was unlikely to be such space. Great location for what we had planned in the area and super quiet (when the waves weren’t splashing up!). Highly recommended.

An absolutely perfect stay. It's a no-brainer to visit this charming and beautiful house in the hills. Well, only if you like very cool hosts, stunning views, a gorgeous vantage for many varieties of local birds, warm and colourful skies at sunset and an unpolluted view of the stars at night. We had a wonderful time- to say the least. I wish we lived closer. I'm going to do my darnedest to visit again! XoThanks a million for having us!

Stayed here for a few days while exploring the area. Beautiful cottage, immaculate condition. Weather was a bit chilly to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again!

This is a fantastic property on an awesome piece of real estate. not quite snow on the beach but it was raining hard and very very windy when we arrived. We knew it was winter in New Zealand and that we had a beach property so not unexpected. Great location to go see everything from the mud pools/geysers in Rotorua, Hobbiton movie set close to Katikati and even Mount Maunganui (awesome views). Lynette the host was awesome and made us feel welcome. Hard to find in the dark, especially in the rain so I recommend arriving in the daylight hours !!!
