Our grandkids enjoyed seeing the goats and horses. Host was very accommodating. Area is quiet and scenic. House is spotless. Would definitely come again.
Thank you Sari! Was very quiet and lovely! Great interior. Clean and super comfortable. Hot Tub a bonus! We had lots of snow and skiing was worth the bit of wet snow we had. Refreshing and awesome!! Well equipped Kitchen and plenty of lovely Towels for hot tub and shower. Will definitely return to this one!
This property was perfect for our group of 15, a mix of Adults and young kids/toddlers celebrating a 40th birthday! As soon as we walked in it felt larger than the pictures and video can capture. We never felt cramped through the weekend, everyone had space, even with kiddos running around. This place was stocked with anything we could need all weekend, especially in the kitchen as well as a high chair, baby gates, kids plates/cutlery etc. It was very clean, warm and inviting. Had a cozy log cabin feel even for such a large place. The hot tub on the massive deck over looking the mountains was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, we will be back! Jason and Becky
We loved our stay last week! It was quiet and peaceful. The home is lovely, open and airy. It’s well equipped and a close walk to French beach which was fun for the kids to play (and it had a nice playground as well!)
We would stay again!
This is our family’s second time coming to stay with Margaret at the Green Roof Chalet, and we absolute love our time spent together here. The chalet has such a classic cozy feel to it with the wood burning fireplace and the sauna and huge soaker tub make for a wonderful way to unwind after a day on the hill. The view of mountains and ocean from the chalet make for breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and the beds are plentiful and comfy for a large group! The location is super close to the parking lot making for a very easy load in/out a process, still with ski out capabilities to the sunrise chair. Our Host Margaret was very easy to communicate with, quick to reply and provide updates about possible occurances on the mountain during our stay. We will certainly be coming back next year for our family vacation!
