Vacation rentals near Whangarei Art Museum

Large comfortable home, more than we needed for the two of us, but so pleasant to have the extra room for a change. Amazing views! Huge deck with easy access to a walking trail along front of multiple properties, like a private park, and access to the beach. We enjoyed close access to interesting tavern. Altogether a great stay!

Property was immaculate and had everything you would require except for a clothes dryer. The highlight of the property was the front porch which overlooked the bay.The property was also a short driving distance to a grocery store and great bakery.

This was our first time using a vrbo, going to our daughter's wedding in the local area. Carol & Gordon our hosts were great, always keeping us up-to-date as our trip got closer, and promptly responded to our emails. We were totally impressed /surprised when they invited us to their own home for a "home cooked meal ". Carol /Gordie your amazing hosts. The BnB is centrally located in Ruakaka, close to shops, the beach, lots of pubs/restaurants for your dining pleasure. The park like atmosphere of the BnB backyard was wonderful both morning and afternoon relaxing with a coffee or a glass of wine. We would/will definitely have to make a return trip. Thanks again for dinner!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this property. Only negative is there is no wifi. We are from out of country so had no data and having no wifi made it very difficult to communicate with other people we were there with for a wedding. And no mention in the add that there is no wifi. But we would stay there again for sure!!

My husband and I stayed at this property for two weeks and everything about our stay was excellent. The suite was very clean and well supplied. The neighborhood was great for walking and it was a short drive to the grocery store where we found everything we needed for our stay. The hosts, Leeann and Warwick, were friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Whangarei area. It was a great base for our visit to Northland with lots of golf options and interesting day trips.

We had a fabulous stay. Lil is a wonderful host, giving us advice on what to do and see. The apartment is very comfortable, has all the commodities and the bonus is the wonderful view !!! I would highly recommend it.
