Goderich pet-friendly rentals

We had a fabulous stay at this property. The location is fantastic and easy to get to. The cottage itself is beautiful, very new and clean!! All the rooms and shared living spaces were spacious and clean. Plenty of showers and bathrooms which made it easy for a group of 10. And lots to do with the available amenities and the large backyard. The beach was also fantastic. Private and shallow enough. Only draw back is the steps to the beach which is clearly stated in the booking so it was not a surprise.We would definitely stay here again!!!

The cottage was rustic with wide pine plank flooring, open concept, high ceiling and an overall impression of welcoming guests. So many interesting decorations to examine. As often as possible we sat outside on the patio on the comfortable cushions. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Of all the vrbo places we've stayed at this was the best so far. Loved it.

Thrilled to have found this gem! We were looking for a place where 12 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs could celebrate an 80th birthday and this location did not disappoint!! It was less than 2 hours from home and everyone had time to roam, rest and relax. We had a catered meal on Saturday night so didn’t do much cooking but the house was well equipped for everything … lots of dishes and flatware!! We lucked out with weather and were outside most of the time but did enjoy the basement activities and hot tub. The stairs to beach were a bonus and kids loved exploring. Would love to come back!

What a gem! Isabel and Shawn take great pride in their property, and it shows. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The girls and I all enjoyed the fireplace, the bunkie, s'mores, having plenty of kitchen supplies for meals, and of course the amazing view! Isabel and Shawn were available for any questions we had during the stay and did their best to make our vacation great. I would recommend this cottage to anyone :) Thank you Isabel and Shawn!

We had the best time! From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by the lake views. The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed. All of the furnishings and fixtures were good quality, which for me made the whole experience even better. We spent lots of time at the beach swimming, kayaking, and watching sunsets (which were never the same twice). We also loved being out on the balcony. It had amazing views of the lake, and we loved reading out there. We really had the best time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was modern, spacious, and clean. Our host was responsive to ensure our questions were answered and needs were met. The stairs to the beach was a 10 minute walk. Walking to the centre of town would take 30 minutes, a bit far if you didn’t have a car.

We (2) visited the property in January. It offers so much more than we could have done in 2 days. Next time we will book for longer. It is a gorgeous property. We enjoyed the woodstove. We brought lots of things with us that we didn't need to as the place has everything you can think of in the kitchen, bathroom etc. We could imagine a larger group for a fun summer family getaway.
