Vacation rentals near Kanepuu Preserve

We thoroughly enjoyed the "Comforts of Home" in this wonderfully private Lanai property. The thoughtfulness and care of the host was evident from the nicely appointed kitchen, the comforts of the bedrooms and the privacy of the deck. The host has curated a wonderful selection of her art in the home- I could never decide which was my favorite! We loved reading about the home in the provided Aloha notebook. The notebook has wonderful suggestions for island activities. On our hike to Shipwreck Beach we were so fortunate to see an endangered Monk Seal sunning itself on the rocky shore! Manele Bay Beach is gorgeous, with white sandy beaches, great tide pools and a quick hike to "SweetHeart Rock". We didn't eat out in Lanai City, but found a nice selection of foods at "Richards Market". Mahalo!

This property is the nicest one in the neighbourhood, located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Lanai City. The property is well maintained and easy to find. The interior is clean, with granite countertops and a large eating area. The kitchen is stocked with all you'll need, but there isn't a dishwasher. My only complaint is that the host did not send access information to the property before our arrival. The phone number for the host was not in any of our correspondence or booking info here on VRBO and I didn't realize we'd not been given this info until we were on the ferry from Maui to Lanai. Since the host's response time via messaging was quite slow we worried we'd not get into the property at the time of our arrival. Meanwhile, we contacted our rental car company to confirm our car, and mentioned the property access issue. He knew where the property was, and offered to drive there to get the phone number for the host off the sign on the fence. I'd have expected far more effort from the host to accommodate us with the basics of how to get inside before or on the day of our booking date. This was a big inconvenience for us and our car rental guy, and it should never have happened. Hopefully, this situation was a one-off, and nobody else has had a similar issue.

My husband and I were thrilled to stay in Jasmine house for 12 days in August. The wrap around porch was beyond lovely and comfortable . The bedrooms/ bathrooms/ kitchen were well equipped . We were delighted that the home was able to cool down at night, thanks to the fans, the windows and of course the location. The home was very clean. Lanai City is a must see . So many great restaurants. The people in the city are very friendly and always made us feel welcome. There is so much to do on the gorgeous island of Lanai. Jasmine House is a fabulous location. You can enjoy days at the beach, hiking , big exploring and get back to a lovely, comfortable, cool home. Bart Baldwin is wonderful to work with when planning a vacation. He is trustworthy, responsive and will support and advise as required. Staying at Jasmine House made our trip to Lanai extra wonderful. We look forward to staying her again. Mahalo!
