As excellent as advertized

When staying at a vacation home, we always hope our expectations will be met. Chris and Tom’s delightfully quirky cottage more than exceeded them. Waking to an osprey high atop a spruce and a heron on the rocks, as the tide ebbed just outside the window, was incredible. The fireplace warmed the living room on cool mornings, perfect for curling up with a good book. Both the screened in porch and indoor tables were great for eating all the local lobster clams and crab. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. Oh the joy of a warm, fresh and newly decorated bathroom for an excellent shower. Throughout, the decor was imaginative, and delightful in keeping with an historical Maine cottage but with modern conveniences. We look forward to returning.

Awesome location and views from the deck. Great couples retreat. Host is very responsive and sharing of local experience to ensure you love the area.

Rebecca is the most responsive and friendly host you will ever interact with. She had suggestions for every query and the “cabin” is really more of a cozy and 5* lovely apartment right by the water! The rock pools each day bring new surprises and provide endless hours of discovery for kids and adults alike. The area is quiet and peaceful and a short drive from the most quaint little seaside towns. I couldn’t recommend this wonderful stay more, and guarantee you will feel rested and relaxed after your stay at this most wonderful place!

Wow! Everything was great! David and Paula are amazing hosts, very kind, knowledgeable and super helpful if needed . We were very comfortable, plenty of room for the four of us, super clean, and beautiful gardens to enjoy! If I could I would have given 10 stars!
