Sardinia apartments

Fantastic place to stay close to everything needed and the surounding historic sites were the hight of our trip

We loved this apartment. A generous size, well equipped and in a great location. We could have happily stayed for weeks! Ulyana was very helpful and quick to respond, flexible with check out too. Many thanks.

Don't be in any doubt about booking at Palaentone you will not be disappointed. The properties are in a sensational location on the hillside and overlooking the sea. If you are looking for a place with peacefulness and closeness to nature this is the place. Our cottage was small but very characterful,well equiped and spotlessly clean. However the outstanding feature of our stay was the kindness and friendliness of the owners Teresa and Leonardo. Whilst they were helpful in every respect they were not intrusive and made our stay very relaxed. Whilst we were there I had a medical emergency which necessitated being taken to hospital in an ambulance to Alghero hospital. On my discharge Leonardo and Teresa met us and gave us a lift back to Palaentone and even offered to take us for a pizza as we had not eaten for some while. On the following day when we went back to the hospital to sort some paperwork Leonardo met us there to help us. This was really above and beyond and they are really the most caring and gentle hosts you will ever encounter. Needless to say we have arranged with Teresa and Leonardo to come back next year.

The house is charming and has a really wonderful view of the sea. The owner - Ignazio, is very kind and nothing is a problem. Despite the fact that he only speaks Italian (we don't speak Italian), we somehow agreed on everything. There is a large selection of all types of beaches all around. The town is pleasant, rather quieter, but it has its own charm and we really liked it. Everything you need is there. We drove by car, we have small children, it's quite an uphill walk. But problem-free parking everywhere. At the time of our vacation there was a techno music festival in neighboring Arbatax (across the sea), lots and lots of loud "music" until the morning. We recommend finding out and avoiding this term. But that was for two days, otherwise it was quiet. We can highly recommend. Peter and his family.

Luigi communicated with us before and during our visit and greeted us when we arrived. The apartment has everything you need and is in a great location for all the amenities. Our flights home were cancelled but Luigi was absolutely amazing and offered us further days at the apartment if we were unable to get another flight. It was so good to have such an understanding and supportive host. We are so grateful to Luigi for offering solutions and maintaining contact with us whilst we arranged our journey home. This was our first holiday to Sardinia and we had a fantastic time. Would certainly recommend this apartment and location.
