Nova Scotia beach rentals

The cottage was perfect for two. The view is incredibly beautiful from the cottage. The privacy was romantic and offered a feeling of rest and restore. Everything you need is provided including advice on things to do and places to eat. This is the perfect place to stop spinning in circles and reconnect with someone you love.

The aptly named Tumblesea cottage is perched on the cliff edge above the lovely, golden beach at Chimney Corner affording uninterrupted views over the Gulf of St Lawrence. The house is perfect - tucked away out of sight of any other houses, exceptionally well equipped and designed in an open plan style which is just perfect for a couple. The property owner, Stewart, lives within a couple of hundred yards and is always readily contactable by mobile or email should the need arise. We stayed in another of Stewart's cottages 2 years ago so we had a good idea about Cape Breton's attractions but Stewart again made a point of calling in the day we arrived to give tips about restaurants, walking trails, boat trips, etc. The cottage is ideally located roughly half way between Inverness and the national park - both within 30 minutes drive. Stuart provided lots of helpful information, which especially helped us in finding hiking trails and places to visit. The house was very well equipped, modern and attractive.

If you're happy to sit on the deck and spend endless hours watching the ever-changing ocean, this place is for you. Extraordinarily diverse flora and fauna.We ate freshly caught (by me!) fish most days and the cabin was clean and comfortable. Thank you for sharing this little patch of paradise with us.
