Holiday rentals near Molega Lake

As well as being very conveniently located near the national park, this chalet is wonderfully positioned by a secluded lake for canoeing, sunset or shooting star watching. The house is spotless and includes all modern equipment and facilities. Stefan is a fantastic host, who takes great care of his house as well as of his guests! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer, but now we have a great place to come back to!

Oh the lake!!! Totally mesmerising, changes from hour to hour to look ever more lovely. The cabin is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything you need is there for a totally relaxing break. Heartily recommend

In the run up to hurricane Dorian Scott was very proactive and suggested we might like to go to the cottage a day early to avoid travelling during the storm. We were very pleased to accept his offer. We also filled the bath with water prior to the storm as he suggested, which was to work well for us. On the morning of the storm power to the cottage was lost and remained out for the rest of our stay. Unfortunately this also meant no running water and access to the bedrooms in the basement was pretty much out of the question as they were very dark. We were able to repair a generator we found in the garage and managed to keep the refrigerator going for the 6 days of our stay. We were disappointed that the generator could not be plugged into the main electricity consumer unit for the property as this would have solved most of our problems and we would strongly recommend this be provisioned going forward. Whilst we enjoyed the location, bathing in the lake and heating water on the wood burning stove ceased to be a novelty after 6 days and we retreated to a hotel in Halifax where we could enjoy more modern conveniences.
