Holiday rentals near Rum Point Beach

A lovely spacious apartment for you stay at Rum Point. The best thing is that the condo has everything you could need - kitchen condiments, floaties, cool bags and boxes, games, pool toys, beach toys, sun hats, beach bags......Thank you! Recommend :)

The condo was clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. Seemed to have everything you could think of. Really liked the nice touch of the welcome basket. The hosts were brilliant and communicated throughout our stay to assist with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to come back.

Secluded location in Rum point, exactly like in an advert. Excellent apartment, AC , fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and glasses all in working order. Beach was usable and had access to the local restaurant and bar but this closed very early even before 8 pm which was real shame. Children enjoyed snorkeling, they were little disappointed it was not exactly seven mile beach but did enjoy walks down to Star fish point and local hotel. We booked this place at the last minute and the owner was very accommodating and responsive. The owner even allowed us to have a few friends over for lunch on Sunday. The property itself is very comfortable and homely. The most noticeable thing is how clean the entire place is. It is not a new house but that did not matter to us. The house was clean and inviting. The six bedrooms and six bathrooms were plenty for us as we were a group of 8. The pool was very clean and we used the charcoal grill one of the evenings. We walked to the small grocery and liquor store three houses away!! The house has a good, comfortable and unpretentious vibe which we loved. The view was lovely but you can’t swim in the ocean outside. That is so for most of the properties on that side of the island. The only challenge for us was that the kitchen and living room were on the second floor but even that was not too much of an issue. There were three bedrooms upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs. Downstairs also had a small living room area so everyone had their own space. We would stay here again.

We stayed at the retreat condo. It was low season and we were the only ones here more or less. For us this was perfect. Rum point is 40 mins from George Town but very close to Kaibo restaurant where many activities start from and where we had a super lunch. We enjoyed the Sting Ray sand bar visit immensely from kaibo beach and seeing the blue iguanas at the Queen Elizabeth 2 botanic gardens which is not far. The crystal caves visit and the bioluminescence kayak trip where all good. High class apartment with everything for cooking and very comfortable. Can’t fault it really. We love cooking and the kitchen has everything you need . Evening meals on our own with a very calming view on the sea front. Top tip Bring your own wine, tonic and gin as alcohol is expensive. Everything is available here but pricey. Very safe place and internet is really fast. Thanks Katrina - you have a wonderful apartment and we are so happy we finally made it. Definitely recommend it
