Holiday rentals near Camara de Ganaderos de San Carlos

We stayed here in August '23 and it is really special. The property is about 3 acres, it has a hot-tub and a firepit and has it's own nature walk down to a swimming hole. The house is well equipped, A/C, good shower, and a spectacular view. Pablo is a great host. He was really friendly and the little details he had added (like a basket of fruit and fresh coffee) made it very welcoming. It's a great location to explore the Arenal area - the waterfall is definitely worth a visit (even with the 500 steps back up.) La Fortuna is close and has some great places to eat and stock up on supplies. Definitely worth visiting 'El Nido' which is within walking distance and has views of Arenal, a giant swing and we saw lots of Toucans! The last 2 KM of road to get here is not in great shape, although there is a plan to have it fixed. We had rented a 4x4 for the trip, and we were glad we did. But this place is definitely worth it. This is a beautiful place to stay. Lidiana and Eddie are very friendly hosts and their property was perfect for us. We highly recommend the cookery class and the breakfasts. None of us wanted to leave! The children loved the sloth, who had a week old baby when we were there, and frog spotting at the pond was a highlight for them! 100% recommend and we hope to return one day.
