We stayed in March and also hit on a cold rainy period which didn't deter our enjoyment. Weather can be very changeable . The house is beautifully designed to take in the views and is well equipped and comfortable. It is an excellent base for exploring the nearby national parks and within 20 minutes drive to supermarkets and restaurants. The housekeeper is most welcoming and helpful as are all family members. When staying here avoid San Jose in rush hour at all costs. The traffic jams are unbelievable.
