We hall had a wonderful stay at Marc and Paula's lovely farm, picking salad and fruit from the garden, swimming in the idyllic pool and hopping off to nearby markets and beaches. Our hosts went out of their way to answer all our questions and provide all we needed. Couldn't be more different than the concrete hotel strips abundant in so many resorts. A little quirky but all the more interesting for it.

I would have given 10 stars all round if I could. Fantastic location, beautifully clean gorgeous villa in a magnificent setting. Owner was there for anything we needed and couldn't have been nicer. We have stayed in many places over the years and this was up there as one of the very best, highly recommend! was right up there with the best

We had a lovely few days in this perfect little property. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay to explore the surrounding area. We had such a relaxed stay and Bertoli and his wife were perfect hosts... we looked forward to our daily gifts of cake or fruit!!! Totally recommend staying here and hope to get the chance to do so again. Many thanks. 💕

We had a wonderful 5 nights. Our little house could have easily slept 6. It was typically rustic country living and had all the amenities that we needed. We even had a covered parking area for our car to keep it cool. The pool was set in a lovely little garden with loungers and it was our personal haven especially as we hit the heat wave and most days it was in the 40's. The pool was our go to place when we arrived back from our daily jaunts. We were a 15 minute drive from a large Lidl store which had all the food items we needed and more. We drove into Tavira, a short 15 minute drive, each night to enjoy the many restaurants that lined the river. Really recommend you visit there. It is touristy but has a lovely vibe about it. We could have ventured further each night but we were happy to always return and find another great eating place. Each night on our drive home we could see many tiny owls perched on fence posts. If you want away from it all rustic Portugal, this is for you.

Whilst linens & crockery were clean enough, there were cobwebs in several areas.... Grounds are in need of attention as is roof terrace sunbeds - unfortunately both broken and with stained pads. Apart from above, comfortable enough home, which, with a bit more tlc and general upgrading could be fabulous
