Silves villas

There were four of us staying for two weeks and Casa na Colina had all we needed for a wonderful holiday. The pool and outside space are the highlights, particularly late afternoon and into the evening (when the sunsets are something to behold) and the villa as a whole is comfortable, clean and had all the facilities we needed. We certainly did not want to leave!Exploring the local area is easy as the villa is well placed to reach the many towns within a 30 min drive or so. Colin and Barbara are excellent hosts, providing help when it is needed - right from the outset - and they have a great team helping locally.

This is an ideal place to stay, approximately 45 minutes drive from Faro airport. The property is spacious, with 5 bedrooms, so could easily accommodate a large group. Was very clean, and had a nice outdoor covered area with fridge and sink, so a great place to eat outdoors when required. The upper floor balcony had beautiful views over the hills. The owner lived on the adjacent farm behind and was a lovely host. He even gave a little tour around the orange and avocado trees on his farm. I would say having a car is a must. The town of Silves is only 10 minutes drive, where there is an old castle and plenty of places to eat. The coast, depending on where you go, is 30 to 40 minutes drive away. I'd also recommend the market on a Saturday morning in Loule. The house is very quiet, set on a small road, so a very pleasant place if thats what you are wanting.

Very comfortable villa in a perfect peaceful spot overlooking miles of orange groves. We loved the privacy & seclusion, the heated pool (a welcome option for an October stay), and the well-equipped kitchen. Excellent communication from/with the owners made it all hassle-free. Absolutely flawless experience staying at this property with a large group of friends. Throughout the whole booking process and during the stay, Fernando was incredibly hospitable and responsive. All of our questions were answered answered within hours, at any time of day. The villa is also perfectly located for a mix of activities - not too far from the party strip of Albufeira, not too far from Faro, and very close to a number of beautiful beaches. Highly recommend:)

We stayed in this beautiful villa in late October early November and were delighted with everything. Alex was so communicative throughout and was the perfect host. The Villa is fantastic, equipped with everything you could need. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and would recommend this Villa to anyone. Thank you Alex and Richard.

A beautiful, spacious property, surrounding by nature and peace and quiet! Yet, still close to all the amenities you will need. The villa itself has a real home from home feel, with everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. The pool was lovely and we all spent most of our week at the villa, in the pool. Pieadad the housekeeper is a true gem and is happy to help and give any advice. One of those finds that we would be very happy to return to and having travelled the world and stayed in many, we don’t often find ourselves saying that!
