East Grinstead cottages

We had been before and knew just how ideal the Old Dairy was for our group. The kitchen is a joy and the bedrooms and bathrooms ideal for the 4 of us. We were staying to go to operas at Glyndebourne and the old dairy is ideally situated for that. We hope to stay there again.

Excellent and well-equipped cottage set in a lovely quiet location. Angie provided a comprehensive welcome pack that was much appreciated. All the fittings were of a high standard and cleanliness was excellent.

This was our second visit, and brilliant again! It’s a fantastic area to explore – there are three pubs in the village that are all excellent, and an abundance of country walks from the doorstep. It’s also easy to go a little further a field – kayaking in Ardingly, or down to the coast. All round excellent, thank you x

Caroline was an excellent host. The property is compact, well -designed, and spacious. Good kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed!We have family in Haywards Heath, and were able to walk there on a lovely bridlepath through the qoods. All excellent. Nice pub and shops walkable.Look forward to returning.

A 5 Star review for a 5 Star stay. Cottage had everything we needed for a 5-night stay. Arrived to see a herd of deer in the field beyond the garden and they came back to revisit us more than once. Beautiful location within easy reach of forests, amazing pre-historic monuments and the beautiiful town of Tunbridge Wells. The Welcome and friendliness of Giny and Andrew added to the experience and thay also arrnaged for the weather to be glorious in March. If you want to stay in this area, this should be first choice.

Thank you so much, Claire.The Stables Cottage is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Train Station, you do not need a car for this break away. An absolutely beautiful shopping and dining out experience awaits visitors along the High Street and The Pantiles, with creatively designed shop windows, arty clothes and craft items, exquisite food served in cafes and restaurants, this is a wonderful treat.Claire recommended that we dine at The Beacon, which overlooks Rusthall Common, it is a truly amazing experience with a glorious walk back down through Rusthall Common and The Common, into The Pantiles shopping area. The Stables Cottage is beautifully decorated, with amazing attention to detail and everything visitors need. It is well designed, has a luxurious deep bath and waterfall shower, comfy king size bed and the location is ideal, down a quiet, cobbled lane, but close enough in town to have easy access to everything the High Street has to offer (just a short 2 minute walk down the lane)We were so very comfortable at The Stables Cottage, we had a marvellous time and hope to return soon. Perfect cottage to enjoy the English countryside. Very accomodating hosts and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to catch and release fish as well as enjoy the nearby walks. Well situated for us to catch up with nearby family and friends, see the sights of the area or jump on a train to London.
