We've just returned from a lovely week at Villa Zaneta. Alen was a very welcoming host and made sure we were very comfortable - arrived to find a gorgeous homemade fruit tart in the fridge, along with some other treats! Accommodation very clean and spacious with excellent aircon in all rooms. Kitchen and BBQ area fully equipped with everything you'd need to self-cater. Small shop in village short walk away for baked goods, fresh milk, fruit and veg and lots of Istrian goodies. Supermarket 15 mins drive and vineyard just round the corner from the villa! Alen recommended some local restaurants, all a short drive from villa. There are also plenty of options in Porec, which is a lovely holiday town especially in the evening for strolling, shopping and dining. Spent our days snorkling in the sea, swimming in the pool and bubbling in the hot tub - thank you Alen for a lovely weeks' holiday :)

Wonderful Views

We chose this villa purely for the remote location and pool, but we were not disappointed. The villa was very old but with lots of modern facilities. Everything was in good working order and top quality. Fully air conditioned that worked very well (32 DegC outside all week). Modern bathroom. Lots of space, but there was only 2 of us. Four or five people would do fine. The owners were extremely polite and helpful, with great English. Couple of very small negatives as usual. Its a 30 minute drive to any decent supermarket. There is no oven, We were badly bitten by mosquitoes when we sat at the outside dinning table, but Elvis fixed this by bringing us some very effective anti-mosquito burners. none of this would put us off and we would return tomorrow if given the chance.

Peace and tranquility.

The Villa Maria is amazing, we had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pool was very well used by us all but especially my 2 children, the Villa has everything you need for a stress free holiday. You definitely need a car as it is so remote but in our opinion this added to the charm. The owners Valmi and Andreja were fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend the Villa Maria, my youngest is 9 and she loved it. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Valmi and Andreja.

Spacious, clean villa

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The villa was spacious and clean with a lovely pool.We had a couple of nice days out to the coast and to inland villages, including a great zip wire experience, and in the evenings there were a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. Would definitely go back to Croatia! (even if they did beat us at football!)

Lovely villa

Really enjoyed ourselves here. The villa is finished to a very high standard. Nice open kitchen / dinner and lounge, amazing shower, and lovely rooms. Pool area is brilliant. There are a couple of nice seating areas in the shade and plenty of room to pull a sun lounger into the sun when you want to. Also a brick BBQ which was great. The area is quite rural and remote - around 15 minute drive to local town with shops - but this suited us just fine as it was really quiet and peaceful and some great views during the drive. There are also a number of nice restaurants in an easily drivable distance. Would recommend and thinking of coming back again in the future!
