Holiday rentals near Otocici Komornik

An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Kuklijica, Uglj an. Such a calm, beautiful environment to relax, but less than a minute away from the harbour with its shops and restaurants. Our favourite place was the smaller harbour just a little further around the coast (U.Gnjojisca) there was a little beach, diving board or concrete pier to dive off into the beautiful green water. Fantastic snorkeling - thousands of small fish glinting in the sunlight, just magic! And a very quiet area away from the crowds. As other visitors have commented, Svijetlana is a natural hostess, who made us feel welcome and relaxed from day 1. I particularly appreciated her attitude towards equipping the rental apartments - making sure that everything was high quality and as good as she would buy for her own use. So we had a fantastic coffee machine that ground fresh beans with a milk frother - luxury!! The cherry on the cake was the bicycles that were available for us to use - we loved getting up early to go and explore.

We loved Sandra’s cosy stone house on a quiet lane within walking distance of restaurants and shops, just 20 minutes drive from Zadar. It is exactly like the photos. Sandra was a great host, quick to communicate and helpful. We especially liked the covered terrace, outdoor oven and hot tub.

Host welcomes you as part of family even as a couple seeking romantic retreat. Spotless. Magical. Perfectly designed pool and garden. Apartments well equipped..Choice of soft mattress would have been preferred..

Sat on the balcony now writing this, listening to the gentle lapping of the water-fabulous. From the moment I enquired about the property I knew we were going to have a great holiday. Davor was always quick to respond and answer any questions I had. The apartment is fantastic-immaculately clean with lots of little touches that make your holiday easier when self catering (every utensil you could possibly need, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, soaps, shower gel, shampoo...). Beer, juice, tea, coffee and biscuits were all there on arrival and Suzanne even brought us freshly baked, still warm cake as we were on the beach one day. The 4 bikes provided were fab and we put them to great use including a trip to the island opposite as suggested by Davor. He also provides a stand up paddle board for his guests to use which my two teenage daughters put to great use. The weather wasn’t great some days but Davor and Suzanne have thought of everything with cosy fleece blankets so you can still enjoy the view and sounds from the balcony. There is a supermarket nearby which we used the bikes to go to, and there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance in the centre of Bibinje and towards Sukosan. Would definitely come again.

Cozy apartment with an amazing view from the balcony. Rather big pool with, again, a wonderful view on the sea and islands. Last but not least: an extremely welcoming, helpful, and fiendly host. Our kids enjoyed their stay at Villa Ria.
