Holiday rentals near German Occupation Museum

We wanted a restful 2 week holiday which is what we got. The kitchen equipment was simple to use, with Guernsey butter, guernsey gache and milk to get us settled. We had a mid stay clean and change of sheets and towels which was very nice. The number 11 bus stops right outside to go to town if a break is needed from the narrow roads, and it is inexpensive. A Morrisons is also round the corner. There was plenty to do for 2 weeks with coastal walks and pretty scenery, interesting museums and history, shops and eating out, as well as island hopping. We also saw some live music at St James in town to finish off the holiday. We will miss Guernsey.

Cottage was all we would want. Extras in the fridge were welcomed. Access to shops, restaurants without needing transport ,so location was excellent. Help was on hand when needed.

Quiet, spacious, immaculately clean space to stay, and very pleasant host.

Jane and team clearly have workedso hard to create an amazing space. Our hut was fully equiped in the kitchen and bbq. The shower was amazing, hot towel rail, beautifully looked after and maintained. The grounds are stunning with places to sit and watch the sun set. Fantastic club house with loads of games like table tennis, table football, basketball hoop, badminton to list a few. I would to go back!

This is one of the best properties you can stay at, having everything you could want or need. The bungalow was only a short drive from anywhere, the island is not that big. There was so much to see and coming back to Morningstar to relax in the mature garden was a pleasure. We took Angie’s suggestion to walk along the clifftop pathway, starting from a lane almost opposite the property one evening and were amazed by the stunning views. We were even more impressed at beaches conveniently places along the path, to sit and admire the views. I cannot say how much we loved our stay in Guernsey and am so pleased we chose to stay at Morningstar. Thank you Richard and Angie for your hospitality, the bungalow was a very relaxing place to stay.
