We spent 4 nights in this beautiful, light filled "Petite Maison". This detached home has floor to ceiling windows and is surrounded by majestic mature trees. There is a lovely wide open view across to the valley and hills beyond and watching the sunsets in the late afternoon was magical. As others have said, the terrace is very big and has plenty of outdoor furniture and there is a garden surrounding the property so you have plenty of privacy. The interior is very well equipped and stylishly furnished. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and modern. Car parking is right outside the front door and so is convenient for unloading luggage. For entertainment, the TV is large and modern. Geneviève is a lovely host and was very hospitable and communication was very good. We would not hesitate to return.

Impressive property - faultless for a family

Will book again. This place is paradise. Great pool (heated). Property is very well maintained. Really well fitted out. Great for three families. Loads of space for kids to roam on the property. Great views. Not overlooked at all. Beautiful garden and grounds. Secluded but not isolated. 5 stars. We will be back

Wonderful stay in rustic farmhouse

We had a wonderful time staying at Mas de La Sauvagere! Isabelle and Bruno couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming, responding immediately to any questions, and dealing with any issues straight away. A delightful couple. The house is just as in the photos - spacious, rustic but comfortable. Very well equipped - and lots of books and board games when it’s too hot outside. Lovely setting, and fabulous views from the (vine-covered) terrace where we ate most of our meals. Pool and recliners very welcome - September was hot! A steep staircase and steps between some of the rooms might be challenging with toddlers. We would thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

Wonderfully relaxing break

The studio is really clean and has everything that you need. The views from the studio are superb and make for fantastic viewing on an evening with a few beers after a hard day laying in the sun and swimming in the pool. The hosts are really helpful and although there was a language barrier (our fault not theirs), still did everything they could to make us feel welcome. We used WhatsApp and google translate to communicate. The add on of fresh tomatoes and a beautifully prepared homemade antipasti was really special. You are close to the local town which is nice to walk around and if you like views, take a drive up to some of the viewing points, they are spectacular. The pool was even bigger than we thought and a lovely way to start the day with some lengths, the diving board was lots of fun for us too. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing break away from the business of normal life.
