Clermont-Ferrand Les Martes-de-Veyre Station holiday lettings

This is a great base to stay in , to visit the Auvergne. It is clean, very well appointed and provides many things that you need. A very nice welcome from the owner, who pointed out key details and we felt at ease and at home very quickly. Wonderful views and a puy on your doorstop, ie the village of Usson. The photos do the property justice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the American Chalet. It is ideally located for exploring the Clermont area while providing a quiet and peaceful location to chill out. Local amenities are a short walk away, boulangerie, crèmerie and a well stocked supermarket. Our host was friendly and made sure that we were happy with everything, without being intrusive. He gave recommendations for places to eat and visit and introduced us to the local winemaker. I would recommend tasting the wines if you have the opportunity - they are a bit different but we really liked them and they are reasonably priced. We would certainly stay here again and thank you to our host for a great stay.

I needed a place to stay for one night on the way to the south of France , car was parked right out the front of the loft with bikes on a bike rack, so felt secure and out of view . Was adequate for our needs
