Holiday rentals near Alu Space Museum

Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille (5 adultes) dans cet appartement très sympa et pratique à Brides. Grand soleil toute la semaine et bonne neige! Nous avons eu la chouette surprise d'un beau feu d'artifice un soir en face de la grande baie vitrée alors que nous dînions.

Great apartment in good condition and seems newly renovated. Location very convenient in the Hameau area of Mottaret, ski-in from a green piste and a short clamber up a snowy slope to ski-out. Supermarket, ski school drop-off and free lift to town very nearby too. Kitchen well-equipped with combi microwave oven, hob and dishwasher. Lots of hot water. No washing machine. Bed linen and towels are not included but can be hired from the owner if informed in advance. Parking free outdoors nearby, although this was very busy in Feb half term week so it took a while to find a space. Balcony overlooks the piste. Overall we had a great week skiing and would recommend this apartment as a very convenient base.

Spacious, well equipped apartment with great views over Valloire and the countryside behind it, well suited to a party that were partly skiing and partly walking & raquetting. We were slightly confused as we thought we’d booked the apartment at the end, but were shown to the first apartment; no big deal as, apart from the aspect, they were a mirror-image of each other internally. Getting to the lifts did require a car journey as the Navette stopped well below and although possible going down, it was quite a slog coming back, carrying skis, etc. Snow really good for Easter with links all open, even right down to both villages and pistes well tended - much easier going over to Valmenier than coming back though due to the lift configuration! And some stunning walks up beyond the barriered-off section of the Col de Galibier and above the apartment via Poingt Ravier to Le Pain de Sucre. Getting back to the apartment all the more welcoming with the underfloor heating. One note, bring your own household essentials as, apart from a little washing up liquid & loo rolls, there were no bin bags (just 1 in kitchen), dishwasher tabs, coffee filters etc.

A lovely stay in a beautiful, well appointed apartment. Very good communication with the hosts.

The apartment is great - spacious, well equipped and with nice views across the valley. It is a great base for skiing - the bubble lift from La Raffort is a short and pleasant walk down the hill. We didn’t have a car, but found it easy to get about and buy shopping in Meribel. One tip - we found it useful to hire a ski locker in Chaudanne (beneath Saulire lift). Thanks for a perfect holiday!

A lovely, clean, well equipped chalet. Perfectly located to ski in and out. With a super snow play area at the back where the children could play after skiing. Super south facing view of the mountains, the torch parade and fireworks on Tuesday evening. Two things that I have learnt for next time; take your own towels and bed covers; put your mobile number on the booking form. The property manager was trying to contact me on the arrival date, but I had given my home landline phone number, so getting the key on arrival proved a little difficult. We can't wait to return!!! The photos looked too good to be true - but they are so reflective of the property and area. Absolutely stunning mountain views from every window. Great to discover the area, and we will be returning.
