Holiday rentals near Musée Maritime de Carantec

Having arranged our booking we had contact with Gaëlle before our arrival to arrange final details. She proved to be pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The house itself is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Its position in the centre of town places it within very easy access of shops and local restaurants as well as being a great base from which to explore the local area.

Very friendly and helpful welcome from the hosts, Maia and Freceric. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay and the washing machine came in handy. It was very peaceful and quiet. The apartment is set in a beautiful garden in a small hamlet, a stone's throw from a quiet sandy beach (with a diving platform the more adventurous can use at high tide). The apartment is right on the GR34 (Britanny coast path) so perfect for cycling and hiking. Roscoff town is about a 20 minute walk. On the way you can visit the Jardin Exotique de Roscoff and/or stop for a swim at several sandy coves. For the more adventurous the village of St Pol de Leon (and Ilot St Anne) is worth the walk to explore (or you can drive there in minutes, along with further villages all around the Brittany coast). We also enjoyed making friends with the hosts' cat!

A well appointed immaculate property that has everything you need. Excellent position in the centre of the village but is still in a quiet area. Restaurants, shops a very short walk away. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else if we were to return to this area. The market on Thursdays is an added bonus.

This property does exactly what it says on the tin. It is comfortable, well laid out, light and airy, clean and well equipped. Our host met us and told us everything we needed to know. We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing stay.

Fabulous little place to stay. Terrific location with lovely views out to sea. The hosts, Maia and Frederic, two of the nicest people you could meet.
