Lovely little property in a great location over looking the vineyardsGood accommodation for 2 couplesOur only criticism would be the cleaners need to do a better job with cobwebs and general cleaning and also if a small amount of cleaning products were left for guests to use it would be nice to keep the property nice and clean

Really lovely accommodation in a stunning, tranquil area. Great hosts next door, on hand if needed but unobtrusive.This is our 13th accommodation in a 5 week France tour and is most definitely one of our absolute favourites.Wholeheartedly recommend.

We stayed with a group of couples and safe to say La Mouleyre surpassed everyone’s expectations . It’s is well laid out , beautifully renovated, the kitchen is fabulous and the pool has a to die for view of rolling vineyards . We were also pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the chateau was - everything you could need was provided . Well done Terry !!

Whatever you need for a wonderful stay in the Dordogne you will find it at Beaulieu. Bibi has thought of pretty much everything but, if you need something more, she will do her best to provide it. Beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, well equipped. The pool and poolside area are lovely, the extensive grounds well kept and peaceful. We particularly appreciated the super kingsize bed. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property.

We had a great stay here, staying locally for a christening. The house is so peaceful and tranquil amongst the vineyards and next to a small forest. It’s really well appointed with all of the bits and pieces we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kids loved the garden too! Highly recommended

A delightful 6-night stay in this very comfortable gîte. Very well equipped accommodation with lovely touches everywhere. The accommodation was beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. Close enough to St Emilion to be convenient yet far enough away to be quiet. The mosquitoes were a pest, however, so go armed with antidotes if you need them! We would certainly return. The Leclerc supermarket was very convenient.

This is our third time with HomeAway in France and yet again it had exceeded expectations. Clos du champ mars is a fabulous gite which situated in the charming sleepy little village of St Philippe d'aiguille. The house itself is excellently furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing unwinding stay. There are three large reception rooms including a stunnning library/dining room and a sunny front room but the room that we used the most was the large kitchen diner. Nathalie the owner has a property adjacent to the gite and she was very friendly and welcoming, giving us some useful local knowledge and tips. The garden of the property is literally in the vineyard and has beautiful views along the straight lines of the heavily burdened vines. The location is also a major plus point as it is rural whilst still being very close to places like St Emilion and Bordeaux. Overall our stay in Clos champs du mars was everything we wanted and more and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. Nathalie's parents are sometimes around and they are most welcoming and friendly!
