St-Marien-St-Yzan Station holiday lettings

We stayed in this wonderful property for 2 nights on our way from Brittany to the Pyrenees. Adeline is a brilliant host, she couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. The house is lovely, beautifully renovated, very comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed meals outside in the peaceful garden. Although we only had one day, we used it to visit Bordeaux, travelling in by tram from a Park and Ride- all thoroughly recommended as well!We would definitely recommend the property. Perfect holiday cottage for a relaxing break. Fantastic quiet location with onsite private pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Also a large garden which is perfect for a game of badminton!! Hosts Anne Karine and Sylvain made us feel at ease. Wonderful couple!

This is a beautiful gite in rural Charente-Maritime. It's close to some really pretty towns and to a number of excellent swimming lakes. We are family of six (grandparents, parents, two children) and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all of us. It's really child-friendly with exclusive use of the pool, ping-pong table and a wide variety of games and toys. Everything in the gite is of really high quality (towels, linen etc) and the kitchen is well laid out with a wide range of crockery, cooking utensils, glasses etc. This is a gite in which you really can cook easily for a large family. Everything you need is there. Liz made all the arrangements which were clear and simple. She and Bones were welcoming and friendly throughout. We have been staying in gites for over 20 years and have never before stayed in one so beautiful and so well-equipped. We all loved it.

We had an excellent stay in the house. Our hosts were most charming, and helpful, showing us the property, and were extremely kind people. The house had everything that we needed. We can recommend the property to others.
