The house is superb, the attention to detail amazing, we loved sitting in the beautiful garden and enjoying lunch on the terrace. St Jean du Gard is the perfect village with excellent markets and there are excellent walks right on the doorstep. We can highly recommend a stay with Bernard and Regine they are the perfect hosts and we intend to return as soon as we can.

We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 children under 4. Sandrine and Nicholas are wonderful hosts and their communication leading up to and during the visit was excellent. They offered extra amenities for the children, which were a great help and very thoughtful. The property was spotless and perfectly clean. The check in process was very easy and they were very patient with us, as we do not speak a lot of French (I am still learning). The property itself is amazing with a lovely, child-safe pool area, jacuzzi and perfect living and sleeping areas. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. It is located in a quiet area with easy walks, bike rides and close enough to walk into Claret for a drink, food or supplies. It was our children's first vacation abroad and it was a wonderful experience for all of us. Beautifully restored old house in a very quiet setting, the pool was bliss. Owners friendly and kind; we heartily recommend. The Cevennes region is worth a visit. I wish we could stay for a month!

Wer die Seele baumeln lassen will, Ruhe, Natur und Abgeschiedenheit liebt und kurvige Bergsträßchen nicht scheut, ist hier genau richtig. Das liebevoll restaurierte Haus bietet Sonnen- und Schattenplätzchen, sei's auf der schönen Terrasse oder auf dem weitläufigen Grundstück. Wanderungen und Radtouren (vom Haus aus bzw. nicht weit davon entfernt) oder auch Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Herault und Gard garantieren einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub. Der Kontakt zu Frau Salièges war herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!
