Holiday rentals near International Aviation Museum

Thank you Margret, We had a lovely stay in your guest house. The room accommodation and utilities was perfect for our needs. We came here to visit Alla’ daughter & children she had not seen for 2 years. You were so kind to provide bedding for a sleepover, they had missed their grandma very much. And provided a electric bbq for us! Bad Dürrheim is a beautiful place and we enjoyed walking around its wonderful countryside and town. We visited the Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Strasbourg and had an amazing time! You registered us for good value activities discounts cards, and at the local solarium and swimming pool we had a splashing time with the children! We hope to return in the future! The VRBO advertisement describes the apartment 'Beautiful and cozy house in the middle of nature' which is a perfect description. The apartment is huge with two large bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen / diner and a big, comfortable lounge area. Thankfully, the TV has only German channels so most UK guests are forced to enjoy their evenings reading, playing cards, going for walks and generally doing 'stuff' without being distracted by 'the box'. Outside there are three seating options so guests can choose to sit in the sunshine or in shade, as they wish. Within about an hours drive are places such as Freibury, Konstanz and Triberg. In short ...... it was absolutely lovely and, for us, ideal.

Stunning house, beautiful gardens and outdoor area. Surrounded by the forest. Of its relaxation you require, this is the place for you. Only a short drive to Bad Dürrheim for shopping, etc. Dog friendly gardens, all fenced in. We all had an absolutely fantastic time.

We were a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 12 and 15. Siegfried and Claudia were very helpful and accommodating, and the house is lovely. Everything was perfectly clean and modern, and plenty of basic essentials when we arrived like detergent, sugar etc. There are shops in St. Georgen which is only a few minutes drive away. There are several walks into the forest directly from the house, so we didn't have to drive to start exploring the area. There is a stream running beside the house which provided lots of entertainment for our boys. The house is conveniently located for driving to Europa Park, France (Strasbourg) and Switzerland (Stein am Rhein) all of which are highly recommended if you want to keep everyone entertained! The giant couch, flat screen TV and Apple TV was fantastic for the evenings where we could relax together after a day hiking etc. This was an ideal way for us to explore the Black Forest, thanks Siegfried and Claudia!
