Holiday rentals near Georgioupolis Beach

We enjoyed our stay not only at the house but also in the area. Many nice places and excellent food. We will come back next year

The villa is beautiful and a very high standard of accommodation. The pool and surrounding views of the mountains were fantastic. But what made this such a special place to stay was the warm welcome from Manolis, his helpful suggestions about places to visit and the incredible welcome pack including local produce. Thank you Manolis!

A lovely villa with excellent facilities. The downstairs living, dining & kitchen area is very spacious. Kitchen well equipped. The outside areas are vast , including a BBQ area, which we used several times and a pizza oven which we did not try. The swimming pool is lovely, possibly one of the nicest pools we have had. The pool and housekeeping was every few days which was ideal. Any issues were promptly responded to by George and usually sorted out by his wonderful father. Checking in and out was an easy process, we were met both on arrival and departure by George’s father. On arrival there was a bowl of fruit, water in fridge and some Raki! As a parting gift we were given some cheese which I believe was produced by the family. Overall a very relaxing holiday, the villa was just outside the local town which meant we had lots of privacy. There is also a small flat at the base of the house which comes with the villa, ideal for grandparents etc. Local town was a little over 10 minutes walk with cafes, tavernas and super markets. Lots of other tavernas within 15 minute driving range. At some point we will return to Crete and would certainly stay here again.

Wow…. This holiday and Villa was amazing. We arrived quite late in the evening and we’re still greeted by George and his family who had thoughtfully provided sandwiches, pastries and some Raki. George gave us a run through and walk round of this stunning Villa. The Villa is beautiful with plenty of room for our party of 8 people. This Villa has everything you need for a perfect stay The Villa is immaculate and you feel guilty for making any mess but with 6 teeens/young adults this wasn’t easy lol The outside area is where we spent most of our time chilling on the upstairs terrace and enjoying the pool and bbq. The local amenities are sufficient enough to provide you with.most of your daily needs and the local bakery and pizza place are very friendly. We made constant use of the local bus at EUR1.40 taking us into the beautiful town of Rethymon where there is everything you can imagine to complete your perfect holiday. We would all like to personally thank George and his family for hosting and providing the perfect setting for a great family holiday. We would love to return again in the future

We enjoyed our stay in the villa very much, it had everything we needed. The place is spacious, clean and well looked after and Louise easy to contact. The garden and separating it bushes give sort of privacy from guests staying in other villas and the pool never was overcrowded. We ate in places recommended by Louise, but our favourite one was tavern near the villa, which serves authentic and hearty Greek dishes. Make sure to try it!

Just returned from a week at this amazing villa. Better than the listed photos. Superbly clean and everything provided. The host, Marianna, was keen to help in anyway we required. Quiet location but with a supermarket and Marianna’s taverna a very short walk for convenience. Watching the stars from the roof terrace was a huge bonus and we even saw the Milly Way. We will return!

Our 3rd visit to Crete. This is a lovely, air-conditioned apartment, set in a quiet traditional village in a beautiful part of Crete. The views from the patio are stunning. The facilities provided within the apartment, and outside, were all we needed for our 9 night stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pool is everything it looks, maintained at a constant 30 Deg C. Within 30 minutes travel is the lovely seaside resort of Kalyves. There are many golden, sandy, beaches within easy reach. Chania airport and city are about 30 minutes drive as is a Lidl store. There are local shops and chemists within a few minutes drive. I advise hiring a car, in order to get the best from your stay. The hosts, Kathie and Chris are lovely people! They are extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The advice that they gave us on the local area was really helpful. Thank you both, so much, for everything! Three good rooms leading into pool and a choice of terraces depending on time of day. Great views and easy but steep walk into village for food and drinks. Five min drive to sea and loads to do.
