The villa looks great in the pictures but it’s even better in person.Beautiful inside and out. The pool area is great, and the covered outdoor dining space it beautiful. One of the best villas we’ve ever stayed in and the villa owners/ managers on hand were great. Location is good for the town (although the town is limited) but the views gardens and isolation of the villa is great. Would 100% stay here again

This modern villa is spotlessly clean throughout with panoramic views in every direction. Even from inside the Villa the view through the windows changes each day like a living painting. It’s spectacular. The grounds are completely enclosed and child friendly with plenty of space for kids to play and adults to chill. The gardens are very well maintained and watered, if you’re from the UK think of a national trust garden with Mediterranean plants. It is also very well lit in the evenings with the BBQ dining area overlooking the top half of Crete (not exaggerating) being one of the gardens hi-lights.The Villa feels secluded in it’s own hillside setting but is at most a 7 minute drive back down to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. So on those sweltering afternoons where the heat of the coast is getting too much, in 10 minutes you can be in your own gorgeous pool with a mountain breeze. Perfect!Eleni deserves her own 5* review but I’m running out of space! A flawless host who is kind, caring, quick to respond to any messages and super friendly. Thank you Eleni! There are no downsides, the beds are comfy, the pool is sparkling, the garden is stunning, the water pressure is great, the wifi is fast, I could go on and on.Stop searching now and book this place, you wont regret it and you’ll never want to leave.Thank you so much! Really enjoyed our first stay in Crete, hosts very communicative and helpful. The pool is also kept very clean and with being later in the season we had it to ourselves most of the time. Apartment was clean and tidy with a lovely view. Also close to a small supermarket. Overall a great holiday in a lively place. Apaapa

From the moment we arrived, at 1am, we knew we had found somewhere special. The owners had left us a veritable feast of produce and home cooked food. Stuffed tomatoes and peppers, wine, water, their own honey and olive oil. The villa itself is beautiful and has clearly been modernised recently. The air conditioning units were brilliant and the quality of fixtures and fittings excellent. There were seemingly dozens of towels provided for our use, which were changed after a week, as well as the beds which were very comfortable. The garden round the villa is beautifully kept and benefits from the most stunning panoramic view across the mountains and down to the sea. The pool was spotless and safe and there was also a table tennis table, swings and toys provided. The small town at the bottom of the hill from the villa has plentiful shops for supplies and we spent a lot of time in the fishing village of Panormos, about 10 minutes drive away. Rethymno was about 30 minutes drive. Even when the beds and towels were changed after a week, the owners left us a box of delicious pastries. We could not have felt better looked after. We can only thank Elizabeth for her kindness and care. We will be back!

The villa was great, but the location made the holiday for us. Walking distance to the beach, supermarkets and fabulous tavernas.

We regularly rate but seldom leave reviews. On this occasion we feel obligated. Having rented multiple villa's all over the world I can only relay that this is the best rental stay my family has ever enjoyed. That the villa is wonderfully equipped, well designed, and caters for just about everything somehow pales against the welcome, service and dedication Kostas and his family shower upon their guests for the duration of their stay. Initially welcomed to the property with a radiant smile and a (delicious) home baked cake, we were shown an abundance of fresh provisions, great wine, awesome raki - all produced on the vineyard for us to enjoy at leisure, with an invite to ask for more as we needed. Oh, and of course, just help yourself to pomegranates and citrus growing outside the villa. The meal Kostas' mother prepared for us was fresh and delicious (and plentiful!). Kostas is a local and is honest with his recommendations when you ask. Very knowledgeable about where to visit, what to eat, where to eat, etc. He gave us great ideas where to go and most importantly, when to go. Having travelled all over the world for 30 years, for the first time ever we are returning to the same place next year!

My wife and I have had a lovely fortnight here. The apartment is outstanding; beautifully situated overlooking the beach with everything we needed for our holiday. There is a huge balcony where you can sit and watch and listen to the waves. Renata has been the perfect host. She was very understanding and flexible during our covid challenges over the last two years, changing dates, duration, arrival time no problem at all. Renata stayed up very late to welcome us, and her communication throughout our stay has been great. The village is lovely if you are looking for a quiet beach holiday with great food options. If you are looking to explore the wider area (and it’s definitely worth getting up into the mountains) then a hire car is a must. I’m sure we will be back.
