Lovely for couples, location near all amenities

This small cottage is in a great location, literally a couple of minutes walk into the centre of town, but tucked away in a quiet cobbled side street. Although there is no parking at the cottage, the Little Rodee carpark is about 5 minutes walk away. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had a great quirky charm which we really liked. The spiral staircase wouldn't be ideal if you'd had a heavy night on the town, but it looks lovely. The cottage was warm, the bed was comfy and I really liked that the owner had managed to squeeze some outside space on the mezzanine level, pity the weather didn't allow us to take full advantage. It was a great place to stay for a couple of nights in Chester, lots of local pubs, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. My only bug bear was that payment was taken before I was asked to provide photo ID and sign a comprehensive rental agreement. This is stated in the details, but you do have to look for it. Personally I wouldn't have booked the cottage if I'd have seen the rental contract first. Communication with the management company was fine, but I would have preferred to be able to contact the owner.

Very nice stay

Had a fantastic stay in this cottage. Everything we could have needed was there and a nice short ten minute walk to the city centre. Gaynor the owner couldn’t have done enough for us. Enjoyed so much that we have booked to come back. Excellent stay and would highly recommend
