No words can describe the elegance and design of this place. The house is brand new and its modern design offers effortless relaxation and comfort. The owners are a lovely couple who are very friendly and kept the house super clean. The villa is located just a few minutes drive to the beach and is close to all main amenities. Highly recommend!!!
We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas and Sameera and his wife bought a Christmas tree for us and the children helped decorate it when we arrived which I thought was a very special touch. Sameera also put us in touch with a Tuk Tuk driver so it was very easy to get around and he was very reasonably priced compared to other places we visited. The villa was very spacious and clean and I would definitely reccomend it
We could spent a week at Sudath red parrot beach Villa, we must say that the place ist absolutely amazing and wonderful! Staff couldn’t make for us more! All the people around the villa were friendly and helpful!! Beach was cleaned fast every morning, and no tourist around. The vila has everything what you need to spend a week in a paradise... restaurant are not so far, and if you don’t walk you can take a tuk-tuk which Also get organized by Sudath. Ones more A big THANKS 🙏 Sudath for lovely week
This was our second stay at Villa Golden. What can I say that hasn’t already been said in other reviews. It’s wonderful.
The villa is very comfortable. The gardens are lovely. The pool is a great size. The location is right on the beach. Small bars and restaurants are a few mins walk away. We recommend Happy Hour at Sadun and Bara Beach Home. Galle is a ten minute Tuk Tuk ride away. Uber is also available if you prefer a little more comfort. We ate at the Church Street Social in Fort Bazar Hotel- it’s classy and gorgeous. Arabella is next door but one and offers amazing food and service.
The real stars of the show are the wonderful Staff at Villa Golden. You could not wish for more friendly, helpful and welcoming people. Your every whim will be catered for with a smile. Susantha, Pushpa, Yasiru and Milani are great hosts. The food they prepare is delicious and the best we’ve eaten during our stay. Pushpa’s Sri Lankan omelettes for breakfast are a great way to start the day. The curries are amazing.
The owner Bart is very helpful. Booking was easy. Messages are responded to very quickly.
The only bad thing about Villa Golden is that at some point you will have to leave .....
My wife spent the last 8 nights of our touring holiday at The Green Parrot villa. If you are looking at a relaxing stay this is the place. Magnificent villa with lovely grounds and private swimming pool. This opens out to the beach and sea which was completely empty every day. Every morning we were served a lovely breakfast by the two lovely ladies. The options for eating out here are limited so every night we opted for the curry cooked superbly by the ladies. Some of the best curries we have had. Sudath vists every day to make sure all is ok and arranges a local tuk tuk guy to take you to town which has everything you would want. Very friendly local lad takes over at 5pm from the ladies and serves the food. All in all one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed in. Faultless
Fantastic stay at Anura Villa embedded in quiet local community 250 meters from sea for swimming 150 meters from lagoon with boats for trips on lagoon to reveal secrets of local wild life. Spacious accommodation all facilities available plus wonderful host Ridmi and family to cater for all needs to include food and taking us clothes shopping when case went missing at airport. Will definitely stay again. Lee Bartlett

Sri Lanka is a stunning country, our stay was made even better by the attention to detail from the staff at Hikkaduwa resort. Nothing seemed too much trouble, they were friendly and everything ran seamlessly. Because of this we had a relaxing worry free holiday where we were able to have a good mix between sight seeing and relaxation.
I can honestly say that I have never been anywhere before where I have been made to feel so welcome by local people.
We were able to employ a cook (a local woman) who cooked us some stunning traditional curries and local dishes, she also showed us the best local markets to shop in.
Visits included Yala to see the wild life, the inland lagoons, Kandy, the Tsunami museum and the rainforest.
A fantastic stay in a place to be recommended.
