Maze cottagewe had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage just minutes from Appledore. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners had thought of absolutely everything. The cottage is not only stunningly decorated with a perfect blend of charm and modern comfort, but it also comes stocked with every luxury you could possibly need—from plush linens and high-end toiletries to a fully equipped kitchen and cozy touches throughout.The location couldn’t be better—peaceful and scenic, yet so convenient to Appledore and its lovely shops, pubs, and coastal walks. We felt completely at home and thoroughly spoiled the entire time. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, this cottage is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

The Long Barn is the last property at Highford Farm and has far reaching views to the sea. It was very clean and well maintained and particularly well equipped for a self-catering stay for a week. My dog loved the fully enclosed side garden and was bemused by the donkeys braying.Recommended.

The Coach House was very comfortable and the swimming pool rota meant I had lots of opportunities to swim with the pool to myself.The gardens were lovely to walk around and the area very peaceful.

We were totally blown away by for us a perfect cottage. It was spacious & well equipped. No local facilities but major town of Bideford was 6 min drive away. Yes you could find small bits of wear & tear but nothing took away the complete feeling of total relaxation. Yes we would & will book again.

This place has nearly everything you could wish for, the view from the lounge across the bay is unbeatable, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bedroooms comfy and quite spacious. Every thing was spotless. The only thing i would not mark as 5* + is the location being on a busy road ( not a problem sound wise) and a very steep downhill walk to Westward Ho, great going but oh not coming back!

We had the best time staying in Moulton Barrett Barn. Accommodation was to a very very high standard with three en-suite rooms. Very spacious lounge diner kitchen area overlooking a delightful walled garden with apple trees. The indoor pool was adjacent to our property and was a firm favourite with the kids. The property was dog friendly. Our hosts were fantastic and hugely informative about local amenities, attractions and restaurants. Very grateful for the top tip about quay jumping in nearby Appledore. Such a fantastic location to explore North Devon. Very close to the big Sherp,MilkyWay and North East Devon Wake Boarding centre. Some fantastic beaches nearby and wonderful coastal walks. Already planning our return visit next year.
