Truly wonderful stay

This place was idyllic. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was exquisite, the rest of the coach house was perfect. Access to the pool and hot tub was a real bonus. Location was excellent with shops and outlets only a 5 minute drive away. Staff were super friendly. We will stay again!

The Coach House

Really enjoyed our stay at The Coach House. The barn was perfect for us and our dog, very clean and well equipped (and the cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated). We used the pool a few times during our stay and relaxing in the hot tub was an added bonus after a lot of coastal walking! Both were very clean and great to have a slot each day that we had this area all to ourselves. We would definitely recommend.

Its like home from home

We have visited HIgh Barns site for the last 6 years and love it. Its like home from home, with everything you need, in a beautiful location and a great pool & hot tub too. Check in is really easy via a lockbox as well & Anne-louise is a lovely host. Beaches a plenty on your doorstep & very dog friendly too. Try it, you won't regret it!

Another amazing stay at the Coach House

We have stayed at the Coach House at High Barns off and on for the last 6 years and each stay is as good as the last. Anne-Louise keeps her accommodation immaculately clean and provides you with everything for an enjoyable stay. The area is so peaceful and quiet too but with the added luxury of the pool and hot-tub too. Loved every single visit & don't want to leave!

The Perfect Place...

The Coach House is in the perfect place. We absolutely loved the pool & hot tub & the air con was an absolute god send in the heat wave! Lovely little touches like the fresh milk from the dairy & cream tea on our arrival & the bed was so comfortable, we slept amazingly every night. The accommodation is well stocked with everything needed & we will definitely rebook, thankyou for making our holiday so enjoyable!

Our dog and us had a great time at High Park Barns. Anne-Louise was so thoughtful and friendly throughout our time there. We loved the attention to details and how exceptionally dog-friendly the entire property was. We had a fabulous and restful time and hope to visit again someday.

Myself and my daughter had an amazing break. The property had everything you needed. The pool was booked just for your party on certain times which we enjoyed. It was so peaceful and not far to get shops and beaches. We met Ann Louise who is such a lovely and friendly lady. We will definitely go back

The kitchen was very well equipped, including extras (washing tablets for dishwasher & pods for washing machine, also pods for coffee machine). The Coach house is warm & comfortable with a lovely big bed and excellent shower. The grounds are lovely and extremely dog friendly. The owners are friendly and very welcoming too.
A short drive to coastal path walks.
Walking on the Tarka Trail is also really nice.

High Park Barns provide quality accommodation in a lovely rural setting but close to North Devon’s beaches and attractions. The swimming pool is a real asset and an excellent facility for families in particular. Highly recommended

Relaxing holiday in Devon

Excellent place to stay to use as a base to explore Devon. The cottage has all you need in the kitchen, teas, coffees and very welcoming Devon scones & clotted cream, plus delicious fresh milk from the nearby local farm! Communication from Anne-Louise was perfect from before our holiday started. Effortless check-in and check-out. We really enjoy our stay.

Short break (5 nights)

It is our 2nd visit to the Coach House and have already shared the link with family & colleagues. The property is very cosy and very well equipped. The whole site is so dog friendly and nice to wander around. It is a very relaxing, peaceful place to stay. I was out early in the morning with our dog on Wednesday and saw a Hare and a pair of Canada Geese down at the lake. Also heard Woodpeckers each morning too.
