We loved everything about this property: the swimming, the animals, the hosts, the beautifully furnished and light-filled house. Would like to stay there again immediately.

Perfect place for a decadent country getaway

We were visiting the Christmas lights at Blenheim palace and decided to make a weekend of it and found the studio at Long Hanborough an ideal place to stay with it being so close and also with a railway station within walking distance to be able to get to Oxford for a visit. The studio contains everything you need for a short break and with the George and Dragon pub next door to top a wonderful weekend off

Used this as a base, clean and well equipped,

We stayed with our adult children and elderly parents for a graduation in Oxford. The location was perfect and was easy to travel in and out of the city. The cottage itself is perfection , very clean and welcoming. The facilities were brilliant - everything has been thought of . I liked there were no signs stating the dog couldn’t go into certain parts etc or lists of dos and don’t. We were blessed with beautiful weather during our stay which meant we could take full advantage of the garden . I hope we get the opportunity to stay again , thank you

The house is wonderful. Huge kitchen with high end appliances and the AGA a cooks delight! Two cosy living rooms are sublime. All the bedrooms are large and comfortable: no one gets an obvious main bedroom and no one is stuck with the “kids room”. All of them are fantastic, large and comfortable beds. Perfect for country getaway for 11 old friends who sat by the fire and cooked great meals.

We had such a lovely stay at the Witney Hideaway. It was perfect for my toddler and Amy was fantastic at making sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and hope we can come to stay again one day. Thank you!
