The property is much more spacious than described and is well appointed for an extended stay. The fixtures and fittings are of good quality and there is everything provided that you could need.It is located in a very quiet area, you do need transport to move around but local amenities are only a short drive away. Stunning area with lots to see.

Glenterry is located in a secluded area of Dumfries & Galloway less than 10 minutes drive between Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. It is a very quiet area with the only other property for miles a couple of hundred yards away. The house was spotlessly clean, centrally heated and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. There is a twin bedroom downstairs and a separate wet room with toilet that requires a walk through the living room and kitchen to reach from the bedroom. Both of these are large and suitable for those with limited mobility - one of our party has Parkinson's and managed fine. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms with a large bathroom that has a walk-in shower. There is also a smaller room with comfortable armchairs for hanging out in. For eating out, I would recommend the Ship Inn and Masonic Arms in Gatehouse of Fleet, The Selkirk Arms in Kirkcudbright, The Old Schoolhouse on the A75 and Ernespie in Castle Douglas.

We had a wonderful family reunion in this beautiful house. Everything about it was just fabulous. It had everything we needed and the patio was a great spot for hanging out. Louise was super accommodating and very quick to come back to us if we had questions/requests.

A very cosy and well equipped cottage. Everything you need (except logs for the fire take some with you), it was a little cold at night. Great location and exceptional standard of accommodation.

Very fresh well equipped cottage. Spotlessly clean. Easy parking . Within easy walking distance of the harbour, the art galleries, shops and excellent restaurants so never needed to worry about having a glass of wine with meal.etc Would ideally like to have had an outside space but knew there wasn't one before we arrived so weren't expecting one and plenty of open spaces close by to compensate. Beautifully decorated and comfy beds so what more could you want..

The property was in a good location which afforded good views and only a short walk from the town centre. The kitchen had everything we could want and there was an excellent supple of DVDs and books as well as two sitting rooms, both with TVs.. We benefited from a bountiful supply of plums from the garden.
