Holiday rentals near Chiesa di S. Agostino

The house is beautifully & sensitively restored. The garden is lovely, with its terraces of olive trees going down to the pool, which is large, well maintained and has a lovely smooth stone surround. The views from here are just gorgeous - down to the pretty village of Poreta, across to the hills & for miles across the valley, with Spoleto in the distance. For us, the house was perfectly placed for trips out to nearby hill villages, towns & numerous great restaurants, many within 10 minutes drive. Julian, the owner, gives good recommendations! One of the great things, is the complete privacy of the place. No one overlooking you on any of the terraces - the top loggia (great for relaxing before & after dinner), dining area or pool. Blissful!Just to note, we would probably hire a smaller car as parking outside the property can be a little awkward, as can getting around the small roads in the villages. Also, if you have limited mobility the steps down to the pool would be challenging. An all round great place to stay.

The property is immaculately clean, it is, as if everything is new The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The geographical area is extremely hilly with beautiful views wherever you go Car hire is essential

Wonderful week, spent mostly in the pool given the heatwave during our stay!

Had a lovely two weeks here. Tieve Tara is a fantastic place to stay, whether lounging by the pool - enjoying the scenery and the wildlife - or out visiting the nearby towns. Paul and Kristl are fantastic hosts, providing so much in the property and advice for your stay. Would love to return one day!

What a lovely house. The outdoor eating area is perfect for a large group, especially because it stays in the shade all day long. The bedrooms are comfortable (fans were v useful in the heat!) and the bathrooms are lovely. We really enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and using the delicious herbs growing in the garden. The ice machine was a godsend! I baked bread in the mornings, ate and swam all day and slept like a log. We experienced fireflies, the cat, golden orioles and wild boar! Thanks so much.

We had a lovely week in this apartment with a wonderful view. John and Jacky were extremely welcoming and helpful whilst also giving us privacy to enjoy our holiday. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. I was a bit nervous of the dogs but they were completely contained away from us and were no trouble at all. Would certainly recommend this apartment.

The hospitality and surroundings were exceptional. We greatly enjoyed our 2-week stay in rural Umbria, a part of Italy which remains Italian. The scenery is wonderful and if you enjoy cycling, walking or simply taking-in the unspoilt landscapes, this is certainly the place to stay. The property is maintained in excellent condition, has plenty of space and all the facilities you could reasonable ask for, and the owner lives only 30 minutes away should he be needed.

From the moment we met Carlo and he showed us around we knew we'd hit lucky. The house is beautiful and full of charm. We loved our week based here. Thank you!
