Holiday rentals near Museo del Carnevale di Sciacca

Six stars accommodation! We had a great vacation. The house is very luxurious and accurately refined in all the rooms with autenthic Sicilan colors and materials (Sicily in my imaginary was just like the colours of this house, the ceramic tiles, the stone walls). In short, the best holiday homes we have ever reserved. The bedrooms are very spacious and bright, the kitchen well equipped, the bathrooms clean, new, elegant. The pool area is fantastic and there is a stunning view of the sea. We had delicious BBQ there! (Sicilian fish is highly recommended). We everyday enjoyed our evening cocktail under the olive trees, facing the Mediterranean and the vegetable garden that is at disposal of the guests. We picked-up tomatoes, aubergines, zuchine and lettuche. The nearest town is Menfi at 2 kms. There are good fisheries, supermarkets, and very very good ice-creams and granite (first time tasted it, thumb-up). The sea is about 5 kms away in Portopalo, and as stated on the listing is a very clean water (Blue Flag Beach since over than 20 years). A big thank you to the kind Betty and Enzo who supported all our needs. Definitely, will come back (with my sister’s family who unfortunately had to cancel his journey with us this year). Nice clean apartment with a very pretty garden. The excellent view over the bay with its fishing boats and view of the headland was the best television documentary. Many interesting places to visit and the most friendly couple showed us many brilliant day trips. It was a fantastic holiday especially for my Russian speaking wife who made a new friend in Irina. The house in Menfi is superb. We stayed for only one week and wish it had been longer. Angelo and Franka are wonderful hosts. The house was very clean, cool and well equipped. It was everything we had hoped for but delivered much more. The gardens are incredible and Angelo was kind and gave us a tour - he has over 500 varieties of cactus. We felt instantly at home and so relaxed. Itwas quiet and peaceful, there is only nature and a gentle breeeze here. The sea is a short walk away through the fields and the beach had only a few people other than ourselves! The beach is pristine and the water warm and inviting. Angelo and Franka live in the adjoining house and were so kind to us during our stay. We were treated like family and they have inspired us to learn Italian for when we return. The nearest town is Menfi but the house enables you to visit so many places. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone who enjoys true peace and tranquility in such a marvellous location. We could not fault the house it was simply beautiful, the area it self was quite simple having travelled much of Italy and Sicily we only found a couple of good restaurants which was disappointing. The towns local to the house so not have the hustle and bustle that we are used to of a beautiful Italian town, the coast line was stunning and the beaches sublime.
