Holiday rentals near Teylers Museum

The property was roomy and immaculate. It was very comfortable with a large bed and living room. The kitchenette provided everything we needed for self catering if we wanted to eat in. Very easy to shop for food with a supermarket close by and easy access to public transport and all the sights of interest with canals on the doorstep. Our host was very helpful and greeted us upon arrival. Would definitely recommend this fabulous apartment.

We had such an Amazing time staying here! The boat is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable and clean! It's in the perfect location and Dana was so kind and helpful! We hope we can come back and stay here again!!!

Beautiful apartment in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and just a short trip from central Amsterdam.

Ideal apartment for our short break, being able to sit out on the balcony was a big bonus. Communication with Astrid before we arrived, and during our stay, was excellent, she was always there with helpful advice. Jordaan is an ideal area to stay in, it has a really good selection of shops, restaurants and bars, with a nice atmosphere on an evening. However the centre of town isn't too far away, easy walking distance or, if you are not a walker, by tram from the end of the road. Thank you Astrid and family for a wonderful short stay in your apartment, we will definitely stay with you again if we visit Amsterdam in the future. J and J

We ended up 12 hours late at the property due to a cancelled flight and Jan the owner was so accommodating and made us feel really welcome . He met us late in the evening and explained everything so professionally about the beautiful apartment . The place was so nicely furnished and spotlessly clean . Beds were super comfy and showers really nice . Jan also supplied some hot and cold drinks and snacks which were much appreciated . It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place to stay . 5 stars all the way . We will return and thanks for your amazing hospitality and tips on the area Jan . We had a wonderful stay in Harlem at City Attic. It is a loft apartment that was in a perfect spot above a cafe. It is basically a two bedroom with stairs up to the second bedroom loft. There are tons of cafes around and is very close to the city square. Harlem is an adorable town with lots of energy and great restaurants, bakeries, a weekly market and shops. Plus it is very close to Amsterdam. Paul and his lovely wife, Priscilla, have made this apartment impeccable, cozy and lovingly decorated with her artwork. It had a very nice kitchen, air conditioning and comfortable beds. Also there is a bathroom up in the loft area which was super convenient. There is a small patio which was perfect for an evening with wine and a cheese board. In addition Paul was always available and is clearly wanting his guests to be completely happy. He did several wonderful things for us. One of our guests fell and hurt her leg and he offered to take us to the Dr. We didn't end up needing those services but I thought it was amazing that he offered his help. To me this was a great spot and a great host. My only suggestion is to add an upstairs shelf for guests to unpack their folded clothes. There is a nice size hanging rack which is nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Myself and my partner stayed in Peter's beautiful apartment and it had everything we needed to feel at home while staying in Amsterdam! It acted as an excellent base to explore the city. From Peter's door, there is a bus stop that provides amazing access to transport and is only a few stops from Amsterdam Central. The apartment is just a stone's throw from Haarlemmerdijk which is a fantastic street filled with an array of shops and eateries and can be the perfect segway into walking towards the city center Would definitely stay again — and hope to!
