Lovely cottage in a great location

This was a late booking due to our original booking for these dates being cancelled by owner. We were visiting Oshkosh and although it was a 75 minute drive it was easy. The property being located right on the lake was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc and appliances easy to use. Master bedroom was very good although a few more hangers in the wardrobe would be good. Lighting was adequate and room was cool. Downstairs bedroom was always a lot cooler but ok, the only thing there was there are no bedside lights so you have to get out of bed to turn lights on and off. The downstairs area has an unfinished look but is functional. Also during the night the noise of a pump was regularly heard and disturbed sleep on occasion. The washing machine & drier were a good bonus. The views were good out over the Lake and I am sure sitting out would be good, we were out every day until late so didn’t get to sit out. Easy to find as directions good.

What a wonderful place to spend our sister's 80th birthday! Marcy welcomed us, walked us around the property, and made sure that we had everything we needed. The cottage was beautifully decorated in a tasteful (and FUN) nautical style, with absolutely everything we could possibly want-including down comforters, plenty of bath and beach towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. We found gorgeous tile everywhere, unique whimsical art pieces, and even fresh flowers on the table! We followed a winding path down to a private beach for a stroll, and enjoyed a fire on a deck overlooking the water that same evening. We also enjoyed a balcony that overlooks the lake- what a great place to enjoy breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening! It was one of the most relaxing times I can remember! Marcy even left a bottle of wine AND a bottle of champagne to celebrate our sister's birthday! Thank you, Marcy, for a special experience we will always remember!
