Montcuq rentals with pool

Fabulous views. So peaceful. Very comfortable accommodation. Great hosts. We’d forgotten just how beautiful France can be. Thanks for a lovely holiday

Great vacation in July, beautiful house, pool and pool area. Also the small medieval village is very cozy. Very enjoyable for a family of five.

Montcuq is such a pretty place and this is a lovely house to stay in. The house is just a few minutes walk to a fantastic boulangerie and you can wander to restaurants and cafes and watch the world go by, all without having to drive. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, with everything you can think of for a great stay. It has a massive garden and outbuildings, so perfedt for a family. We will return, but with the whole family, as there's so many areas to relax in. A real find.

We arrived at the property and greeted by Antoine and his wife. Lovely Gite and everything as described. Very easy walk into Montcuq ( 5 mins ) and Antoine always around if you need any help. Thanks Mick and Wendy

nice area to sit outside in all weather. Well equipped.kitchen and enjoy the gas bbq, beds a little uncomfortable and didn’t help with plastic mattresses protects in the heat as couldn’t leave windows open during our stay due to amount of insects, swimming pool welcome but very strange steps so if with children should take care. Inside not enough comfortable sitting area if weather bad outside

It was very well appointed with everything you may need. Very spacious inside and out with a lovely pool (would benefit from an extra w.c.). The town of Cahors only 10 mins drive away with all the major super markets, restaurants and bars. Excellent for friends our families with young children.

This property lies just outside of Montcuq in a peaceful rural Hamlet. From my first enquiry Valerie was prompt with her response and was there to meet us on arrival. After presenting the property she made it clear that she was only a phone call away to help in any way, which was most reassuring. The property itself was perfect in every way. The pool area was particularly good, especially the hot tub which was good to relax in during the evening. The house itself was well appointed including the kitchen with everything necessary for an enjoyable holiday. Although we spent most of our time relaxing around the pool, the villages we visited in the surrounding area were very picturesque with the typical bars and cafes & restaurants that you'd expect from a French village We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again at some point in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped house. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even arranging a large TV for us to watch the World Cup. The garden was delightful with lots of different options for sitting out and relaxing and the swimming pool was a great refuge in the unrelenting heat. We also appreciated the air conditioning which was essential in the heatwave. Our laboradoodle Paddy was made to feel at home and there was plenty of shade for him to seek out. Self-catering is the best option, for anyone who wants to sample the many local wines unless you have a designated driver as there was not much in the way of restaurants in walking distance. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house to others and thanks to our hosts for making us so welcome.
