Beautiful Old Bastide with private pool and heated Nordic bath, near Montcuq

Private property for your exclusive use, La Bastide de Couvinens dates from 1850 and benefits from very old architectural elements (original stone floor, large old fireplace, old bread oven) probably from an old castle. It is quietly located in a hamlet of 5 houses, at 2 km from Montcuq-en-Quercy Blanc, a Medieval village where you will find all kind of shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, rental electrical bikes shop, municipal lake designed for swimming and fishing with supervised white sand beach and water games in summer.

The house includes an equipped kitchen, a living-dining room with fireplace, SmartTV and DVD, free WIFI, a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and WC, a bedroom with 2 single beds which can be converted into a King size bed on demand, an independant bathroom and WC, a large attic bedroom (please note that we can not stand everywhere because it is an attic room) 2 single beds there, a WC and washbasin. Access to this 3rd bedroom is via a steep staircase.

You can enjoy the swimming pool and the covered terrace (with Professionnal gas plancha) and if the weather is too cool, you can try the Nordic bath ! It's a unique way to relax in the middle of nature, to the sound of the burning fire (the water is heated by a wood stove inside the bath). Enjoy the silence of nature, only the songs of the birds accompany you in this magical experience. A Nordic bath is included in your rental but for repeated use over several days, an additional 70 euros will be requested for participation in wood costs.

Wild garden of 8000 m2 adjoining and near the kitchen, thyme and rosemary available to cook good meals. In summer you can taste figs and peaches (all organic of course) from our garden, you just have to pick it up! And for fun: badminton court, table tennis, books, games.

Also, being a teacher of Hatha Yoga, member of the FNPY, I can give you a private lesson : we will practice on the terrace (course to be paid on site).

You will also have the opportunity to book a massage at the Les Fées Zen Beauty Institute in Montcuq, 2km away.(10% discount if you go through me)

Staying at La Bastide de Couvinens also means experimenting with ecological gestures: our towels are made of organic cotton, our cleaning products are organic whenever possible and we encourage you to compost.
