This apartment was every bit as good as I had hoped it would be. Its position on the 9th floor of this secure property gave the most amazing views of the Umhlanga beach coastline. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished - a lovely bright spacious lounge with doors to the balcony, excellent wi fi and a TV package including every channel imaginable. The bedrooms were a good size and two led straight on to the balcony. It had an excellent kitchen with all the equipment you could wish for. Filip the host had thoughtfully provided some "starter" provisions including milk, juice, water, tea, coffee in the kitchen. He met us on our arrival and made sure we knew how everything worked. During the stay, when we had a couple of questions, he was quick to respond to messages with positive answers. Another plus for us was the easy and private direct access to Umhlanga beach which was great for walks along the broadwalk by the sea. All in all we had a wonderful stay in an apartment that certainly felt like a home away from home. On our next trip to the Durban area we will most definitely be back to Sea la Vie.

We felt safe. The gate staff were lovely. Our maid was so lovely and helpful. We would love to go back for longer!! The house was well furnished. Warm and we had all we needed.

This is a perfectly positioned home close to beach, amenities and transport links. Immaculate spacious rooms and exceptional living and outside space. the communication with the owner was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. I

We had a family reunion at the property. We traveled from various parts of the world and met here. It was our hone away from home and worked perfectly for us. The pool and braai facilities were great and having the unit serviced daily was a bonus. We had easy access to the beach and dishwasher and washing machine made things easy to keep up to date with everything. Eric answered queries straight away which gave us complete peace of mind. We would recommend it to future holiday makers

My stay was amazing.... The staff members were quick to respond to all my problems. The cleaning ladies were also helpful and amazing when it came to advice about sightseeing...

We were near the centre of Durban, everything was easy to reach by car. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout. The accomodation was generously sized and cleaned regularly. Living in Durban has challenges but our stay was worthwhile.
