We booked this villa for us, our adult children and their partners as it had 3 double bedrooms and three bathrooms plus it was walking distance to everywhere and there was no need for a car. We were not disappointed. The Villa was very well appointed and in a quiet area, the pool a good size and the garden a little oasis. The Villa was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The shopping trolleys were very handy. The table tennis table was a bonus. From booking to check out, Syreeta was an attentive 5* host checking by WhatsApp that we were ok and booking taxis etc. She even provided a paella pan when we asked if one was available. Nothing was too much trouble. When a small maintenance issue was reported it was dealt with immediately. We would love to return to Santionella Villa.

When you are trying to choose somewhere to stay for a holiday there is always a fear that the property will not be as good as the pictures suggest. In this case the property far exceeded our expectations - this villa is a slice of heaven atop a beautiful mountain! Carlos is an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Communication at the time of booking, before our arrival and during our stay was immediate and so helpful. The villa is so spacious and welcoming and full of thoughtful touches. We enjoyed fresh morning juice from the orange tree and watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the horizon every day. Carlos thoughtfully helped us navigate the winding road up to the villa on our first day (we arrived in the dark) and although it is nerve wracking at first we soon got used to it, although we organised our time to make sure we only descended and ascended once a day. The climb is really worth it for the fantastic views and the seclusion. Carlos explained where we could buy wood and we enjoyed the fire indoors at night. The outside space is top class. We paid to use the spa and it was lovely to have a dip in the pool before using it. There is plenty of seating for dining and relaxing in all the areas. We didn’t use the fire pit but it is a lovely addition to the space. We stayed as two couples and didn’t want to leave! Overall we would thoroughly recommend the villa and would love to return if we can manage to reserve another time.

We had a brilliant week in Nerja. The apartment was great, very spacious, the most stunning sea view and very well equipped. We had three generations staying and all were well catered for. The toys kept the kids well occupied between trips to the beach and pool and the kitchen/bbq facilities allowed us to cook some great food. The location is great for the beach, a short walk down the steps to the lovely fine pebble beach. The water is perfectly clear and we swam and snorkelled every day. The beach umbrellas provided were a great addition in the august sun. The pool was lovely, clean and warm. There was always loungers and plenty of shade provided by the trees if needed. The Balcon de Europa is about a 10 minute walk providing many options for shopping and restaurants. We thoroughly recommend this apartment and the hosts were very helpful.

Overall our stay was simply amazing. The apartments are nice, clean and have the best view we have ever had. Jose is also a wonderful host, who has explained us everything, answered all our questions and made us feel like home in the apartments. Hope we will come back next summer!

Extremely comfortable, well equipped flat. Near all the amenities, what more could you want?

The apartment is exactly like the photos. Beautiful, spacious, quiet and exceptionally well equipped. The terrace is wonderful with ocean views, wonderful sunsets, the moon reflected on the water, incredible sleepy sunrises with the sound of rolling waves. Bliss. There's air conditioning and fans to stay comfortable. Laundry, dishwasher. Beach gear. It is less than a 5 min stroll from front door of the apartment to the long sandy beach. The sand is dark and very clean. The pool is big (great for lap swimmers too) and lifeguarded. The hours change throughout the seasons. The Penthouse has lift access to floor 8 with 1 flight of stairs to the apartment. There are an assortment of local supermarkets for fresh produce and terrific bakeries. Little markets on the prom with restaurants and cafes. The bus stop is less than 100m from the front door of the apartment. Small taxi rank in the same vicinity. The property manager Carolyn is exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, resourceful and accommodating. She responds very promptly to WhatsApp and made our check-in and check- out arrangements effortless. The taxi transfer to return to the airport was perfect and 20 euros less than we paid for our self arranged transfer to Torrox. Highly recommended.
