Holiday rentals near The World's Largest Mortar

Villa was lovely and the area was exactly what we were looking for, nice and quiet but not too far away from bars and restaurants and the supermarket.

This is a new property on the rental market. We arrived on a late flight and communication with the agent (who were excellent) meant we were able to access the property at 11pm. The property has 3 double bedrooms and sleeps six but is advertised as 7. It is also advertised as having a jacuzzi (it doesn’t) the pool is cleaned once a week by a friendly pool guy, the pool is large and has floats for visitors to use. The kitchen is incredible and has every kitchen gadget going. For those that like a coffee, it has a Nespresso pro coffee machine it use coffee discs not pods. So bring your own. There is Aircon in all bedrooms and main room. I travel a lot with my family and this is the best equipped property we have rented. And therefore worth the price. The agents I wish to also applaud. We did have cause to contact then at 10pm at night and gained a response straight away. They made our trip stress free.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time staying at this well presented, spacious, very clean and well equipped villa. Communication before and during our stay with the hosts was excellent. For anyone who wants to stay within walking distance to amenities the location wouldn't be suitable as most things are at least a short drive away. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and would happily book to stay again.

WIFI/TV could have been better, hot water tap in second ensuite bathroom was a trickle and air con in twin room was not on speaking terms with it's remote control. However this did not detract from a lovely holiday in a lovely Villa. Thank you to all. Harry and Jill

Just come back from villa palma grande again,this was our second stay at this villa,again can’t fault it at all! Lovely and quiet everything you need even down to a sewing kit! everything has been thought of. Richard and Jenny who look after the villa were again brilliant nothing to much trouble and full of information should you need to find a destination ect... we shall no doubt return again,👍🏼😁

Firstly, before we arrived, during and after our stay at this villa owned by the Bramer family, we have to say thank you to them, especially to Heidi, for the helpful, kind, funny, friendly and warm communication. We feel we have made new friends. The pictures of Galan de Noche were stunning and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The villa sits on a hill and we saw its perfect location as we drove towards it upon arrival. It is by no means isolated as other villas are nearby, but it is private. The garden is very pretty and well maintained with views of the surrounding mountains. The pool is a fantastic size and is also lovely to use in the evening with all the night lights on. The villa itself was very clean and more than adequately equipped - for a self-catering villa there were items we did not need to buy as they were already supplied, which is unusual but welcoming. The villa has been beautifully renovated and furnished - it was a joy to call 'home' for 2 weeks. It is a peaceful location and most definitely sets the tone for relaxation although if you wish to play music you can with peace of mind, as the villa has been soundproofed. The undercover outside table proved useful and it was lovely to eat outside in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed the company of 'Bonita & co' too.....!! When we arrived we had a welcome letter waiting, along with some wine - this was greatly appreciated and very thoughtful of the Bramer family. Small touches go a long way! The villa is situated so that you can easily access main highways to all major locations. The local and main roads of Spain we found very easy to navigate. The local Coviran supermarket in Arboleas is very well stocked, there is also a smaller supermarket in Zurgena - both easy to find. Due to the communication with the Bramer family, the whole experience did not feel like a 'holiday rental' but more like a family sharing their beautiful home with us.
