We had a fantastic fortnight in this well equipped cottage overlooking beautiful Lake Vanern. The hosts were very welcoming, and they provided whatever help and information we needed throughout our stay. We had a very relaxing holiday, swimming or rowing in the lake, or walking through local forests most days, and taking trips into Karlstad and other nearby towns (including Kristinehamn and Sunne) for culture, shopping and good food. Our sons are young adults but there’s also a lot on offer for families with younger children too.
