Holiday rentals near Looe Beach

We love everything about swallow cottage. So glad we found it last year. This our second stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you Becky and Simon for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage.

The Old Rectory - and hosts Julie and Chris - exceeded all our expectations. We are retired and so enjoyed the peace of the location in Lanreath - and although there are several other apartments within the building, use of the generously heated pool was normally "private". We ate out in Looe,Fowey, Polruan and Lerryn, and visited friends in Mevagissey, and the Old Rectory was perfectly positioned for those journeys, and a wonderful base to which to return each night.

My wife and I recently stayed this delightful cottage in Hessenford while I was working in the area, and it turned out to be a perfect home away from home. The cottage was incredibly cosy, with all the comforts we needed to relax after a long day. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making the space inviting and warm.One of the highlights of the location is its proximity to a lovely pub, just a 2-minute walk down the road. We enjoyed some wonderful evenings there, soaking in the friendly atmosphere and excellent food. The village itself is charming, and the peaceful surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable.We’re already looking forward to our next trip to the area and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this wonderful cottage again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hessenford!

Beautiful property very peaceful we wanted for nothing one of the best properties we have stayed at carolanne was a lovely host always checking we where happy about the property we stayed for a week but wished it was two, i highly recommended this property and we hope to come back again soon.

Just returned from a week’s holiday with my husband. It’s the perfect location over looking the harbour & so close to restaurants & pubs. The house has the best of both worlds, with a sympathetic renovation, with all mod cons & spotlessly clean & Jonathan is the perfect host. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of dogs with visiting holiday makers & some aren’t so responsible with picking up after them, but that didn’t spoil my stay at the house & we will be returning. Just mind where you step in these pretty little streets.

The property is exceptional and in a ideal location to access everything

Enjoyable week exploring a new part of the country for us. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Mike and Tine were lovely hosts.

Absolutely stunning property in a central location in Fowey, with the most beautiful views. The house is beautifully furnished and very well equipped - we especially loved the Quooker tap. Very comfy beds, with quality cotton bedding. Kim was very helpful and we hired a boat for the week from Maurice (Fowey River Boat Hire), which we were able to moor to the property which was ideal. Wonderful bakeries, restaurants to suit all tastes and shops are on your door step. We parked in a local carpark (which was very reasonable) and didn’t move the car all week, which was a joy! We had an amazing week and didn't want to leave! I am sure we will be back. rom M
