Holiday rentals near Salcombe Maritime Museum

We had the best stay at Magdala Garden. The flat is very well equipped with everything you will need and we loved the terrace where we sat and had breakfast in the sun. The flat is perfectly located just a few minutes walk from Salcombe high street and all the local amenities - you really couldn’t ask for a better location. We rented a car parking space on JustPark but there is also quite a bit of free parking in close proximity to the flat. We also rented a small boat from Salcombe Launch Co. which we would really recommend to make the most of the beautiful estuary, the pontoon to moor your boat is a 5 minute walk from the flat. There are loads of great restaurants nearby, the best we found was Crabshed. The hosts, Paul and Demi were so kind, we had a special celebration whilst at Magdala Garden and they went out of their way to help us celebrate.

Thank you, a few days away was just what we needed and being so central was perfect for us and our children and friends.

Really lovely property in central Salcombe. Facilitates matched our requirements - family with teens. No parking but no problems parking in a local carpark.

Lovely property, loads of space. Very well organised and very good standard - just as described. Great communication, wonderful location and we enjoyed a short break with amazing weather in Oct/Nov!!! Hope to visit again

The apartment is even nicer in real life than we could see from the pictures. We’ve stayed in it with 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) but there’s space for 6. The roof terrace is lovely and the location super central. Kitchen is nicely equipped and no mozzies at all, which was a winner.

A gorgeous little cottage right in the town centre. Very well finished. It is right on a key street so especially during the Regatta it can get very loud with people walking right by the window. But the benefit of the location is that there are no hills to climb to go home!

It was just wonderful! Loved everything about it.

Once again a very relaxing stay. Beautiful views of the sunrise across the estuary. This is our third stay at Magdala, hope to return again.
