Holiday rentals near Walupt Lake Trailhead

The property is great and exactly as described in the listing. It is 45 minutes to Rainier but you don’t have closer options nearly as nice. There’s not many places to eat in town that appealed to us so we cooked out often on the nice grill provided. Sitting on the deck before or after a long day of hiking and hearing Butter Creek cascading in the rocks below the yard is particularly nice. One night three female elk splashed across the stream.

Great property and good location.

The cabin was lovely and the outside space with hot tub was quaint and relaxing. Great communication with the host who left beautiful wild flowers for us on arrival A cosy place we had a wonderful stay. Don't hesitate to book if you get a chance

We had a fantastic time at Baby Bear cabin. There was loads of room for our family of four, the cabin is lovely and the hot tub is great after a long day of walking. The main drag in Packwood is a 10 minute walk or so - Packwood Brewing Co is a fun and family friendly bar with live music outside and fine views. It was also lovely to wake up in the morning to a view of Mt Rainier from our bedroom window. Liz was very helpful, quick to respond to messages and left a lovely welcome pack. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return some day.

This cabin is amazing. It’s clean, comfortable and VERY well stocked, we loved the s’mores! The garden is beautiful and great if you are staying with children as lots of games both outside and in. Also, it’s well situated for touring the 3 main volcanoes. Can’t recommend this cabin enough!
